I think this will be a very competitive league which will not be decided until the last week of the season. Every team was well prepared in my opinion.

Hey Marty ... we took Dice K in the 5th - maybe a round or 2 early, but in retrospect it looked like he went in the 5th or 6th in most NY drafts.

Now whether he warrants that high of a pick is another story, but we have high expectations for him. I thought Cain in the 5th was high as well, but he has incredible upside. I agree that each team seemed well prepared ... it should be a fun and competitive season.

This year's draft was a lot of fun. Dave (team 13) brought some good comic relief to the proceedings, enhanced of course by props! Afterwards, Hank (team 1) and I walked around the draft room casually looking at the other draft results.

I know the rosters will be posted soon, but when looking through the draft there is one thing I'm unsure about. Team 2 selected 'Hudson' in the 14th round and team 12 chose 'Hudson' in the 16th round. I'm not sure which is Tim and which is Orlando.

Cain was picked early but who knows if he wins 16 with 190 strikeouts then its a great pick I was happy with Felix in the 7th We have a real competitive league with quite a few of us rated pretty high in lifetime standings but just like last years numbers for players are ancient history so is lifetime standings I think Hank is right about our league not being decided until the last week Can not wait to see rosters for evey one

Good Luck all

I have the 1st 24 rounds of our draft on Excel ... I'd be happy to forward it to anybody that's interested. If so, just post your e-mail address and I'll shoot it over.
