Well...nice meeting who I could during our draft!

Once the league is loaded...I can see who may have stole the show.

I hope some of us are in the hunt for the top score!

Can't wait for real stats to start!

That draft day goof makes my stomach hurt. Papelbon would have been a much better selection than Pineiro.

Ouch number one of many!

Stephen Drew, 14th SS taken ... after Renteria and O Cabrera, looks about right to me.

UFS, when did guys like Vizquel and Peralta go in your league?

there was a HUGE dropoff in talent after Drew. if you didn't get a SS on your team of drew's caliber or better, good luck trying to dig out from that hole.

drew could very easily pass cabrera in value this year.
Zaleski be honest- you at least gave some thought to he is a Drew and he is sliding must be an injury report I have not seen.

I told you when I saw it- best value pick I have seen to date and that is still the case. I got him in the 12th to a moan or two. I think he went as high as the 10th.

To me besides being a top 10 or so guy right now at his position, he is also one of the only guys with a high ceiling at SS. Sure some great ones at the top but does anyone really think OCAB or Renteria has a 25% chance to perform like a top 75 player, Drew does. Nice job which brings me to another point. I love it when someone says you were lucky in a situation like that, maybe you were but 14 other guys had the chance to grab him in the 17th round hell not only 17th round but last pick of it.

I didn't give any thought to that. The only thought I had was breakfast with Gene McCaffrey the day before and he was really high on him. He wound up taking him 8.1.

I would have taken him the swing before but I took Cantu 16.1 (no 2b yet) and G.Matthews 15.15, and I already had Rollins.

My draft was chasing saves big time.... that's why he slipped.

I was kinda stunned he lasted so long. I had no expectations of getting him after taking Rollins.

p.s. you still owe me a pm.

I see the other side of it. How could anyone, UFS included, not take him in the 16th round. Weren't fireworks going off in your head when you saw him there in the 16th or 15th or 14th??? Makes you wonder...
Now that I see where he actually got him, that was a value pick. Unlikely he'll match Cabrera's value, but I would take him ahead of Peralta and Vizquel. Just don't expect a 300+ avg from Drew this year.

So I took Cantu at 16.1, pick 226. His adp is 191.4.

And I took Matthews at 15.15 as my 4th OF. I didn't want a weak 4th OF'er and I'm not in the Debby Downer Matthews camp. He's having solid camp and the way the Angels run, he could steal 20.

I was almost as surprised Cantu fell as far as he did as I was with Drew.

Now, I can see why Cantu fell after last year, so I was glad to get Polanco as a backup rd 24.
