POSTING BIDS - DEADLINE SUNDAY 7PM PACIFIC, 10PM EASTERN TIME

1. You may bid on any player(s) by posting your bid - you will be bidding with your season's $1000 FAAB budget (there is no real dollar cost involved), just like any other FAAB period during the season. This will reduce your budget for the remainder of the season by a like amount.

2. You cannot edit your bidding posts; create a new post if you want to increase your bids (and you can't reduce them).

3. When we reach the deadline, if there are competing bids for a player(s) in the final 2 minutes, the deadline will be extended for those players only until there are no bids for 3 minutes on those players (in msg board time stamp). For example, if there is a bid at 6:58pm on Barry Zito, Zito's deadline will be extended 'til 7:01. If another bid comes in at 7:01, the deadline is extended another 3 minutes. If no additional bids are in by 7:04, bidding for Zito is over. The message board time stamp will serve as the official time and will be FINAL. If you wait 'til the last second and can't get a bid in on time, you lose, so bid early.

4. Once all bids are final, I will need a list of drops equal to the number of players you won within one hour after bidding closes. If you win 3 players, you must drop 3 players from your drafted roster. If you want to do conditional bids with a max number of drops (highly recommended), include that in your post.

5. You may have only one price for a player - not different prices for the same player in different bid groups.

6. Conditional bids will process like in the NFBC, highest bid in a string must be highest conditional. Sample conditional bids below:

Point of clarification.

I want to pick up 1 player, and I have conditional bids.

Player A - $10.

Player B - 5

What if bidding goes on for awhile past the deadline on Player A, let's say 7:30, and I lose. But my conditional bid is now the highest on player B. How would the other bidders on Player B know I now have the highest bid on Player B, 30 minutes after the deadline? I guess we all have to play close attention until all conditional bids are also done?

Also, if you want to adjust the order(s) of a bid string, post the whole thing. If you're just updating the price of a player you can just post the player and new bid. If you raise one player above a conditionally higher player, he will jump that player in your conditional bid string.

KJ, you didn't really provide a good example here. I would think if Delwyn was available, he'd be going for at least $900.
