Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
I'm a little late with this signup, but Jim Nicola of Whittier, California became our sixth team to grab a spot in the $1,300 AL Auction League in Las Vegas on Friday afternoon, March 30th. Jim will be back for that event plus the Main Event at the Bellagio, and if I know Jim probably at least one more auction league!!
Last year, Jim's Pickpockets just missed a money finish in the $1300 AL Auction League by finishing 4th with 77 points. Welcome back this year Jim and best of luck in the hunt for the league prizes and the $100,000 grand prize.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
I'm also late with this signup, but I'm glad to welcome back NFBC veterans Josh Blumenreich and Lowell Kaplan of Brooklyn, New York as they're back again in Las Vegas on March 30-April 1 for the Auction Championship, Main Event and Ultimate Auction League. This duo just missed a couple of money finishes last year, placing 4th in Las Vegas League 6 of the Main Event with 102.5 points (1/2 point out of 3rd), while placing 69th overall with 2,599.0 points. Bronx Beans also finished 5th in the Auction Championship with 94 points and 11th in the Ultimate Auction League. Welcome back guys and best of luck in the hunt for all of these league prizes and the $115,000 in grand prizes.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
I'm glad to welcome back Don Warner of Wayzata, Minnesota to the NFBC in 2012 as Don is returning to the Bellagio Las Vegas on March 30-31 for a fun tripleheader. He's entered in the Auction Championship, Main Event and NFBC XII over that weekend and is ready to cash in all of them. Last year, Don led Minnesota Legend to a second place tie (damn, we had a lot of ties last year!!!) in Las Vegas League 2 of the Second Weekend with 108.5 points, placing 58th overall with 2,665.5 points. Donnie Baseball also finished 5th in the Las Vegas Live Double Play, while Team Warner finished 9th in the March 25th Las Vegas 9 am Auction Championship with 75 points. Nice job last year Don and best of luck in the hunt for this year's league prizes and the $165,000 in grand prizes.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
I know he BADLY wanted the league title last year, but congrats to Roy Ericson III of Wayne, New Jersey for winning $2,800 and finishing 2nd in New York League 5 last year. Roy's Outlaws finished with 120 league points and finished 14th overall with 3,013.0 points, both close but not quite there Roy!! I know you'll keep fighting this year to move up just a little further in both contests. Roy will be back in the Main Event on Saturday, March 31st in New York and will also be part of the $1,300 Auction Championship in New York on Friday, March 30th, one of his favorite events. Roy's Outlaws are coming off an 8th place finish (81.5 points) in that event last year. Welcome back Roy and best of luck in the hunt for this year's league prizes and the $115,000 in grand prizes.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
We're also happy to welcome back NFBC veteran Anthony Palavis of Weirton, West Virginia to the 2012 event. Anthony is an NFBC die-hard who just loves the competition and once again he's coming back for the 3-Pack. He's currently signed up for New York's 10 am Auction Championship, Main Event and NFBC XII, but he's doing all he can to swing this trip to Las Vegas instead. Either way, we're glad to have him back for the ultimate tripleheader. Last year, he led Chico Lind's Hermanos to a 2nd place finish in New York's Live Double Play with 88 points (111th overall), a 7th place finish in New York League 3 of the Main Event with 79 points (196th overall) and an 8th place finish in the New York Auction Championship with 73.5 points. Welcome back Anthony and best of luck in the hunt for all of these league prizes and the $165,000 in grand prizes.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
Dan Mitlof of Congers, New York grabbed the last spot in the March 30th 10 am New York Auction Championship and is also signed up for Mike Massotto's Super League in Mahwah, New Jersey the weekend before. Danny has had great success in our auction format in the past, but last year he competed in the Atlantic City and New York Auction Leagues and struggled to lower finishes. Look for better results this year. Welcome back Dan and best of luck in the hunt for these league prizes and the $15,000 grand prize.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
We have only two spots left in our March 30th New York 5 pm Auction Championship League as we welcome Nelson Sousa of Saugerties, New York to that league. Nelson didn't compete in any of our live events last year, but he's definitely an NFBC and NFFC veteran. He will be back for this Mixed Auction Championship and the Main Event in New York City March 30-31. Enjoy this wild crew in New York Nelson and best of luck in the hunt for both league prizes and the $115,000 in grand prizes.

We're glad to welcome an old friend back to the NFBC as Markus Potter of New York City will be returning to the New York Hilton on Saturday, March 31st for the Main Event. Markus has competed with us in past years, but not last year. We're glad to have him back in the big dance and we wish him best of luck in the hunt for this year's $5,600 league prize and the $100,000 grand prize.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
We just filled our first league for the March 24th Online Main Event as Robert Particelli of Berwyn, Pennsylvania grabbed that 15th spot. But have no fear, we'll have plenty more and all of the names will be jumbled to form separate leagues. Last year we had 3 Online Main Event Leagues that first weekend and we'll likely have multiple leagues again this year. Thanks Bob for jumping in and best of luck in the hunt for this $5,600 league prize and the $100,000 grand prize.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
I'm glad to welcome back another original NFBC Charter Member back for the 2012 event as Rick Kanfer of Marietta, Georgia will be back for the Sunday, April 1st Las Vegas Auction Championship at the Bellagio. Rick competed in that Sunday auction last year and he led his Kmeisters to an 11th place finish with 68 points. He's already preparing for this one with a few Slow Drafts, so welcome back Rick and best of luck in the hunt for all of those league prizes and the $15,000 grand prize.

We're already working on our third full league at the Bellagio Las Vegas on Saturday, March 31st as we welcome another veteran NFBC owner to this year's event. Chris Garcia of Wesley Chapel, Florida will be back with us for the big dance after leading his HOOZ AHN PHERST team to a 10th place finish in Las Vegas League 3 last year with 73.5 points (249th overall). Chris is already preparing for the Main Event by competing in a $150 Slow Draft. Welcome back Chris and best of luck in the hunt for this year's league prizes and the $100,000 grand prize.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
Let's get to one more signup over the weekend as Aaron Smith of Wakefield, Rhode Island jumped into the Sunday, April 1st Auction Championship in Las Vegas before it filled up, while also grabbing a Main Event spot. Aaron has been with us since 2005 and last year he led The Vig to a 3rd place finish in the Las Vegas March 25th Auction League with 108.5 points, while finishing 10th overall with 971.5 points. He didn't compete in the Main Event last year, but instead jumped into the March 27th Super League and led his Bringing Down The House team to a 3rd place finish with 108.5 points again. Great job Aaron and best of luck in the hunt for this year's league prizes and the $115,000 in grand prizes.

We're happy to welcome our newest member to the growing NFBC family as Dave Anderson of Brooklyn, New York signed up today for a 12-team NFBC Satellite League and the debut NFBC XII at the New York Hilton on Sunday, April 1st. We're glad to have Dave for our 12-team contests and we wish him best of luck in the hunt for the league prizes and the $50,000 grand prize.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
Let's get the Welcome Wagon back out and pick up a couple of veteran NFBC owners for the Main Event in Las Vegas. Eric Christenson of Chanhassen, Minnesota competed in Las Vegas League 3 last year, and even though Audrey's All-Stars stumbled to a 12th place finish with 66 points, Eric is coming back for more in 2012. Eric was at the AFL Symposium and got his season started in that AFL DC draft and yesterday he secured his spot at the Bellagio on Saturday, March 31st. Welcome back Eric and best of luck in the hunt for this year's league prize and the $100,000 grand prize.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
Also signing up for the NFBC Main Event in Las Vegas on Saturday, March 31st is none other than Gene McCaffrey of Fort Collins, Colorado. Gene is an NFBC Charter Member who will be competing in the big dance for the 9th straight year. Gene was the ultimate warrior last year as he had a heart attack the week before the Main Event and yet we found a way to hook him up via teleconference with the gang in Las Vegas to still draft live from his home bed. Wise Guy Baseball was in the same league as the eventual $100,000 champion, but unfortunately that champ was Lindy Hinkelman not Gene McCaffrey!!
Wise Guy Baseball finished 10th with 71 points and place 210th overall. Welcome back Gene, stay healthy and best of luck in the hunt for this year's league prize and the $100,000 grand prize.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
Let's keep it rolling today with the return of another veteran NFBC tag team. Greg Doyle and Duran Holton of San Diego, California will be back with us at the Bellagio Las Vegas on March 31-April 1 for the Main Event and the Super League. That's an awesome doubleheader for sure. Last year, Greg and Duran led The Strained Obliques to a third place finish in Las Vegas League 1 with 98 points to earn $1,400, finishing 95th overall with 2,449.5 points. We're glad to have them back this year and we wish them best of luck in the hunt for the league prizes and the $100,000 grand prize.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
It's good to see so many owners who were in the Live Double Play last year agreeing to return to the NFBC XII this year. Yes, it's a little more expensive this year, but we want to establish a Main Event for the 12-team format, which is definitely more common for fantasy players. Are latest returnee is Thad Shirley of Las Vegas, Nevada, who competed in the March 25th Live Double Play at the Bellagio last year and led his Thennis team to a 3rd place finish with 84.5 points, while finishing 103rd overall among 780 teams. Thad is claiming home field advantage at the Bellagio this year and returning to compete on Friday, March 30th at 4 pm PT. Welcome back Thad and best of luck in the hunt for the $4,000 league prize and the $50,000 grand prize.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
We already have two full New York Auction Leagues, but we still can fill up a third one on Sunday, April 1st. We now have two signups for that event as Winston Sapigao of Flushing, New York signed up for that event over the weekend. Winston is an NFBC veteran who competed in two New York auction leagues last year. I'm sure he will be back for more this year as well. Welcome back Winston and best of luck in the hunt for this league prize and the $15,000 grand prize.

We now have ONLY 2 SPOTS LEFT for the $1,300 NL Auction League in Las Vegas on Friday, March 30th at 9 am PT. Blair Wendell of Kitchener, Ontario will be back for us and he's hoping for a better finish than last year's 11th (53.5 points) that his Toronto Two-baggers provided. I know you'll finish higher this year Blair!! He's also interested in the AL Auction League, which would be a fun day of auctions. Welcome back for this one so far Blair and best of luck in the hunt for the $8,100 league prize.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
I'm happy to welcome back a good friend in the industry who is returning to the NFBC Main Event after a 1-year absence. Let's give it up for Jeff Erickson of Monrovia, California and Rotowire.com as he will be back with us for the big dance at the Bellagio Las Vegas on Saturday, March 31st. Jeff is also the host of Rotowire's Fantasy Sports Show on Siriius/XM and I have a feeling he will be talking about his NFBC team quite a bit this year, especially if it's in the hunt for the money. Welcome back Jeff and best of luck in the hunt for this year's league prize and $100,000 grand prize. And I'll see you next week in Las Vegas for the Sirius/FSTA Industry Draft, that will be carried live on Monday night. Should be fun.

The signings are rolling in today, which is good to see. What happened, did the college football season end last night or something?
Let's keep the Welcome Wagon out for John Kadubec of Bordentown, New Jersey as he's also going to join us for the Main Event Online on Saturday, March 31st. John competed in the Online Main Event last year as his Diamond Kings finished 10th with 63 points in League 3. He's back and ready for a money finish this year. Welcome back John and best of luck in the hunt for this year's league prize and the $100,000 grand prize.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
I usually see Kevin Bass of Potomac, Maryland in Las Vegas at the first weekend of March Madness, but with the MLB season being pushed back into April this year we can't host a live event out there at that time. Kevin and his gang isn't even going to go out there for that weekend now, instead venturing to New York City to draft with us on the Second Weekend. Kevin has taken entries in the NFBC Main Event, NFBC XII, Ultimate League (Online on March 25th) and he wants to get into the Friday 5 pm Auction Championship league. We have him on the list for all of that. Last year, his movers finished 7th in Las Vegas 1 of the Main Event with 94 points (124th overall), 4th in the Auction Championship with 92 points (42nd overall) and 6th in the Ultimate League with 85.5 points. He loves the competition and is coming back for more in 2012. Welcome back Kevin and best of luck in the hunt for all of the league prizes and the $165,000 in grand prizes.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
It's been a great day of signups for the NFBC today. We've had a lot of NFBC veterans re-up for 2012, we've sold out the NL Auction League and now we're working on our first Ultimate League. Let's welcome Robert Levine of Edwards, Colorado to the NFBC as he will be making his debut in the NFBC Ultimate League Online on Sunday, March 25th at 1 pm ET. Robert has been playing online leagues on other sites for years and is tired of the small prizes he's won. He's ready to step up to the big-time and has jumped in one of our best events we offer, the Ultimate Draft League. Let's keep this one going and fill up two Ultimate Leagues on that day like we did last year. Welcome to the NFBC Robert and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $40,000 league prize.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
We filled up the $1,300 NL Auction League today thanks to the arrival of Ken Magner of Freehold, New Jersey. Kenny was already signed up for a couple of NFBC XII leagues, but he grabbed a third one on Friday, March 30th at 4 pm PT. That's getting to be a popular event/time for our veterans as I can see a Friday night NFBC XII and Saturday Main Event being a very popular weekend doubleheader for years to come. Kenny didn't compete in the NL Auction League last year, but I know he did in the past and we're glad to have him back again this year. Welcome aboard Kenny and best of luck in the hunt for all of these league prizes and the $50,000 grand prize.
