Re: Next Signup List for $150 and $375 Slow Draft Leagues
March 1st is just the default date we have set up for all Slow Drafts. It's just a date we need to have on there the way the Registration page is set up. All Slow Drafts will start once they are full, so don't even worry about that default date. You are good to go Martin and you will be drafting by Friday at the latest. Be ready and thanks.papa's nine wrote:GREG, I SIGNED UP FOR THE NEXT SLOW DRAFT, NUMBER 10, BUT IT IS LISTED AS MARCH 1ST. PLEASE SET IT UP FOR THE SD#10. THANKS

Go to LEAGUES in the green navigational bar and pull down to ONLINE. Then click on LEARN MORE under $150 Slow Draft. Link is here:RoundTrippers wrote:is there an overall slow draft champ correct?? if so, how many places does it pay and what are the payouts?? how many leagues were the overall dc championship based on?? and do see that potential prize escalating?? thanks!
http://nfbc.stats.com/baseball/draft_champ.asp
The overall grand prize is $3,500 and we are paying 5 spots overall. Remember, $25 of each entry fee goes towards this grand prize pool no matter what the entry fee ($150, $375 or $1,000), so it's not a big total, but it makes the competition more fun to have an overall contest along with the league contest. Two sets of standings every morning is better than one!!

Since we are already at 16 leagues (counting Doughy's early one and the $1,000 Slow Draft to start in February) there is NO DOUBT in my mind that we'll be expanding this prize structure. I could easily see us doubling this pool, but let's see how it plays out, how February shakes out and then go from there. We'll need a cutoff date in early March for these as we roll into the satellite/online championship live drafts. But I trust we'll get another dozen or so leagues well before then and grow the prize pool. We'll likely expand the number of teams receiving overall prizes to Top 10 or so, while also expanding the top prizes. It would be cool to have at least a $5,000 grand prize and solid 2nd to 10th overall prizes. Stay tuned and keep signing up.
