Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
We officially filled up the $1,300 NL Auction League in Las Vegas today when NFBC veteran Michael Delgado of San Fernando, California grabbed the last spot. Mike absolutely loves the NL Auction League and I knew he would be heartbroken if this one had sold out without him. I'm glad he jumped in today. Last year his Mad Bombers finished 3rd with 86.5 points and this year I know he has his sights on the league prize. Welcome back Michael and best of luck in the hunt for this $8,100 league prize.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
Jason Steeves of Calgary, Alberta grabbed one of the final spots in the Sunday, April 1st Auction Championship league in Las Vegas and he also grabbed a spot in the Friday, March 30th, 4 pm Las Vegas Auction Championship! Jason will likely add a few more events in Las Vegas, but we're glad to get him into these before they filled up. Last year Jason's GW WHALERS finished 12th in the Sunday Auction Championship with 65 points, but he's expecting a money finish this year. Welcome back Jason and best of luck in the hunt for the league prizes and the $15,000 grand prize.

Josh Blumenreich and Lowell Kaplan of Brooklyn, New York grabbed one of the last spots in the April 1st Las Vegas Auction Championship league, which will happen before they compete in the Ultimate Auction League in the afternoon. Now that's a full doubleheader. Josh and Lowell led their Bronx Beans to a 5th place finish in the Friday Auction Championship last year with 94 points. Welcome back guys and best of luck in the hunt for the league prize and the $15,000 grand prize.

Bobby led Team Jurney to a first place finish with 125.5 points, while placing fifth overall with 1,047.0 points. CONGRATS Bobby and Joe Rawlings. Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
We now have 5 owners signed up for the Sunday, April 1st 10 am Super League with all 5 owners being in Las Vegas with yours truly. Dave Potts of Auburn, Alabama is the latest signup for that league as he's trying to drown his sorrows after watching them damn Crimson Tide roll to another national championship!!
Dave led his Vandalay Industries team to a 7th place finish in this Super League last year with 84.5 points, but his new strategy is guaranteed to be a winner this year, right Dave?
Welcome back Dave and best of luck in the hunt for this $20,000 league prize.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
Hollywood legend Nic Cassavetes of Los Angeles, California is coming back to the NFBC in 2012 with a tripleheader that would delight anyone. Nic, who is an actor/director/producer/fantasy baseball die-hard, will be back for the Diamond League and both Main Events in Las Vegas. Nic loves this stuff, but last year his teams battled injuries and disappointment, finishing 8th in the Diamond League, 12th in the Second Weekend Main Event and 13th in the First Weekend Main Event. But have no fear, Nic will be ready to win all three in 2012. Welcome back my friend and best of luck in the hunt for this year's league prizes, the $75,000 Diamond prize and the $100,000 grand prize.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
We're glad to welcome back a pair of NFBC veterans to the 2012 event as the tag team of Rick McLaughlin of Avon, Connecticut and Dan Coury will be joining us for the perfect doubleheader at Mahwah, New Jersey on March 23-24. Rick and Dan are signed up for the Auction Championship on Friday at 5 pm and the Main Event at 1 pm on Saturday. They led their McCoury team to a 7th place finish in New York League 3 last year with 79 points, while finishing 217th overall with 1,844.0 points. This year they are doing the First Weekend events and we wish them best of luck in the hunt for this year's league prizes and the $115,000 in grand prizes. Welcome aboard guys. Mahwah is here to stay, so let's fill up those leagues East Coasters!!

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
We now have 8 owners signed up for the Saturday, March 31st Super League at 7 pm ET/4 pm PT, leaving us with 7 spots left. Our latest signup is Shawn Johnson of Macedon, New York. Shawn loves the Super League format and competed in three of them last year. His March 26th team wasn't his best, though, as Threat Level Midnight III finished 9th with 76 points. But he finished second in another Super League and i's ready to return and compete once again for the $20,000 grand prize. Welcome back Shawn and best of luck here.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
We're glad to welcome back two-time NFBC champion Jared Eagle of Staten Island, New York back to the 2012 Main Event as he will be back with us at the New York Hilton on Saturday, March 31st. Jared is one of our earliest members to the NFBC and he is back and gunning for a third league title. Last year, his Rubbernecks stumbled to a 10th place finish in New York League 3 with 75 points (243rd overall), but as you can see he's eager to get back in the winner's circle. Welcome back Jared and best of luck in the hunt for the $5,600 league prize and the $100,000 grand prize.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
It's great to have our VERY FIRST NFBC SIGNUP back in the Main Event with us. Rey Diaz of Miami, Florida was the very first person to sign up for the NFBC Main Event in December of 2003 and I remember it like it was yesterday!!
He trusted us to deliver the $100,000 grand prize before anyone else did and he was with us each of the first seven years. Last year didn't work out for him, but he's returning to Las Vegas the first weekend of our NFBC drafts and is getting back into the Main Event. He will be drafting with us on Saturday, March 24th at the Bellagio Las Vegas. Welcome back Rey my friend and best of luck in the hunt for the $5,600 league prize and the $100,000 grand prize.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
Let's welcome back another NFBC veteran to the Main Event this morning as Alan Greenberg of New Haven, Connecticut just filled out his fun weekend in New York City on March 30-April 1. Alan has the ultimate weekend plan: 2 Auctions on Friday, March 30th in New York City, the Main Event and NFBC XII on Saturday, and then one more Auction Championship on Sunday. I love it. Alan's Between the Lines competed in New York League 4 last year of the Main Event and didn't finish in the money, but he's planning on all of his Between the Lines teams to cash this year!! Welcome back Alan and best of luck in the hunt for all of these league prizes and the $165,000 in grand prizes.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
Now this is how you get into the NFBC Main Event!! Nathan Serr of Shoreview, Minnesota competed in three $125 Satellite Leagues last year and he won two league titles and $2,000. Now he's stepping up his game and competing in the NFBC Main Event at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare in Chicago on Saturday, March 31st. NICE. Nathan led his Disposable Heroes to the $125 March 9th league title with 124.0 points and he led Metal Militia to the $125 March 21st title with 126.5 points. He certainly knows what he's doing in these 15-team formats. Congrats on a great, great season Nathan and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $5,600 league prize and the $100,000 grand prize.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
We're glad to welcome Will Tyrer of Beverly Hills to both weekends of the Main Events as he grabbed spots in both Las Vegas big dances. Will was already signed up for a bunch of auction leagues, the Diamond League and the Ultimate Auction League, but he's not about to miss the Main Events. Last year he was in one heck of a battle in Las Vegas League 1 of the First Weekend as five teams were within 5 points of the top spot. His coldwater coyotes finished 5th with 101.5 points and 93rd overall with 2,486.5 points, but they sure went down with a fight. The coldwater coyotes also placed 6th in Las Vegas 1 of the Second Weekend with 79 points, finishing 211th overall. Thanks for all your support Will and best of luck in the hunt for this year's league prizes and the $100,000 grand prize.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
Okay, we moved closer today to filling up the Saturday, March 31st Super League as we now have 10 owners for that one. ONLY FIVE SPOTS LEFT. Chad Schroeder of Omaha, Nebraska is back for that one as he's coming back to Las Vegas for the Second Weekend of activities and grabbing this spot before it fills. Last year his Cocktails & Dreams finished 11th in the Saturday night Super League with 64 points, but he's ready for a money finish this year. Look for more signups from Chad soon as he's coming back with gusty. Welcome back Chad and best of luck in the hunt for this $20,000 league prize.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
Also signing up today for that Saturday, March 31st Super League in Las Vegas was Chris Poulson of Dublin, California. Like Chad, Chris is also finalizing his schedule to Las Vegas and will be jumping into several leagues that weekend. But he wanted to make sure he got into this one before he sold out. Team Poulson competed in this Saturday night Super League last year and finished 10th with 73.5 points, but like Chad he's back for a money finish. Welcome back Chris and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $20,000 league prize.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
Speaking of Super Leagues, Mike Massotto created an East Coast Super League Challenge for Mahwah, New Jersey on that first weekend of action and already has 9 owners signed up for that one. David Deterra and Eddie Gillis of Jamestown, Rhode Island each grabbed Main Event teams in Mahwah and both grabbed their only Super League teams. Hey, these guys are friends but more importantly they are COMPETITORS!!!
David had another sensational year in the NFBC last season, leading his bluebloods to a Main Event league title in First Weekend League 2 with 124 points, while finishing 16th overall with 2,981.0 points. Eddie led Team Gillis to a second place finish in Las Vegas League 4 of the First Weekend last year with 106.5 points, while placing 62nd overall with 2,629.5 points. Both guys are back for the ultimate first weekend doubleheader in Mahwah, New Jersey. Welcome back guys and best of luck in the hunt for the $20,000 Super League prize, the $5,600 league prizes and the $100,000 grand prize.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
This has been a great day of Main Event signups today as we're now at 140 signups and working on our 10th full league. That's a great start for early January. Our latest signup is NFBC veteran Bruce Bevacqua of New Milford, Virginia, who will take a spot in the March 31st Online Main Event. Bruce is already preparing hard for that big test by competing in some Slow Draft leagues and we're glad to have him back. His Old School finished 12th in Online League 1 of the First Weekend last year, but I trust he has a better finish in mind for 2012. Welcome back Bruce and best of luck in the hunt for the league prize and the $100,000 grand prize.

We're glad to welcome another new signup to our NFBC Main Event in 2012 as Paul O'Brien of Dorcester, Massachusetts will be joining us at the New York Hilton on Saturday, March 31st for the big dance. I think Paul had a hand in last year's Live Double Play in New York, finishing 3rd in his league with 72 points. Now he's stepping up to the Main Event and a shot at the $100,000 grand prize. Welcome aboard Paul and best of luck in the hunt for the $5,600 league prize and the $100K grand prize.

It's great to welcome back another Main Event defending league champ to the 2012 event as Jason Steeves of Calgary, Alberta will be joining us again at the Bellagio Las Vegas on Saturday, March 31st. Jason led his CANADIAN BEAVERS to a first place finish in Las Vegas League 5 with 115 points, while placing 30th overall with 2,811.5 points. That was a tough, close league, so good job Jason. He's also doing some auctions in Las Vegas that weekend and the April 3rd Super Online league. Welcome back Jason and best of luck with all of those league prizes, the $20,000 Super League prize and the $100,000 grand prize.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
We're glad to welcome another NFBC veteran back to the Bellagio Las Vegas on March 30-31 as Scott Jenstad of Pasadena, California will be back for our Main Event doubleheader that weekend. Scott becomes the 42nd owner to have a shot at $225,000 as he's going to compete in the debut NFBC XII on Friday at 1 pm and will be doing the Main Event on Saturday morning. Scott is a past Main Event league champ who won a league title in the Live Double Play last year, winning Las Vegas March 25th 10 am league with 88.5 points and finishing 32nd overall. His Oaktown team struggled to a 7th place finish last year in Las Vegas League 2 of the Main Event with 81.5 points, placing 187th overall, but the 12-team title shows that he can win in both formats. CONGRATS Scott and best of luck in the hunt for this year's league prizes and the $150,000 in grand prizes.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
We're going to reach that 150 mark for the Main Event before you know it at this rate!! We're glad to welcome another NFBC veteran back to the 2012 Main Event as David Hubbard of Angleton, Texas is doubling his pleasure this year. David competed in Online League 2 of the Main Event First Weekend last year, but Team Hubbard struggled with injuries and finished 13th with 54 points. But David is a veteran of high-stakes fantasy games and he knows that patience and persistence pays off. He's back for the Online Main Event First Weekend and will be joining us at the Bellagio Las Vegas on the Second Weekend for all kinds of fun!! Welcome back David and best of luck in the hunt for the league titles and the $100,000 grand prize, and we'll save some spots for you in the NFBC XII's as well.

We now have one full league for the Main Event at the Bellagio Las Vegas on Saturday, March 24th as we welcome back a couple of familiar teams. First off, we're glad to welcome back the tag team of Buck Bandura and Brian Lee to the Main Event. Those guys were in the Main Event for several years, but were limited to Slow Drafts last year. But they're jumping back into the big dance and joining us for the First Weekend in Las Vegas. Welcome back guys and best of luck in the hunt for the league prize and the $100,000 grand prize.

Our 15th team for the first weekend Main Event in Las Vegas is Neal Moses of Oakland Township, Michigan, a veteran NFBC owner who is coming back to the Bellagio for the perfect doubleheader. Neal and Charlie will be back for the Main Event and the Friday Auction Championship, where we now have 8 of 15 spots filled. Neal also competed on the First Weekend last year and Da Giant Bums finished 5th in Las Vegas 2 with 89 points, while finishing 150th overall with 2,140.5 points. Da Giant Bums Auction finished 10th with 72 points. We're glad to have you guys back on that First Weekend and we wish you best of luck in the hunt for both league prizes and the $115,000 in grand prizes.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
We now have 12 owners for the Saturday, March 31st 4 pm PT Super League with most of our owners drafting live in Las Vegas and demanding a TV nearby to watch the Final Four games!!
I think we're going to have some fun out there and we should have a Super, an NFBC XII and a party going on at the same time. Our latest signup for this event is Kevin Kirves of Lexington, Kentucky, who is the defending Ultimate Auction League champion. He's back to defend his title there and is jumping into this Super League before it fills. Expect a Main Event signup or two from him as well. Welcome aboard Kevin and best of luck in the hunt for this $20,000 league prize.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
It's not often we get to welcome back a three-time league champ, but we get that chance today. Let's welcome back Les Travis of New Mexico as he returns after a stellar season in our 12-team format. Les took an Online Championship 3-Pack last year and just KILLED IT, winning all three league titles and finishing 2nd and 4th overall. Les picked teams early in the Online drafting season, in the middle and late and just KILLED all three. Team Travis won the March 12th league with 97.5 points and finished 50th overall with 5,850.5 points. Team Travis also won the March 24th Online Championship League with 113.5 points and that team finished 2nd overall with 7,049.0 points. His March 30th OC team finished 1st with 110.5 points and placed 4th among 780 teams with 6,824.5 points. Team Travis competed in Las Vegas First Weekend last year as well and his Double Play Live team finished 4th with 78 points, while his Main Event team finished 6th with 80 points and 188th overall. Okay, now Les is back for more, signing up for the First Weekend Las Vegas Auction Championship, Main Event, two NFBC XII's and the 4 pm Super League. Expect another Online Championship 3-Pack as well. CONGRATS Les on a great, great 2011 season and best of luck in the hunt for all of these league prizes and the $165,000 in grand prizes.
