Re: MLBContract League #2 - 4 more spots

We just finished MLBC 1 and I must say this was absolutely THE BEST fantasy sports draft I have ever been a part of. I was one of the big spenders, spent about $1,900... Some of the players on my team:

Votto
Bautista
J Hamilton
Beltre
Konerko
Brandon Phillips
Asrubel
Verlander
Kershaw
CJ Wilson
C Carpenter
Mariano
Soria

Amongst others... And there are even better rosters on paper.. But, will my strategy work? My ROI will be less than most of the teams, but I went all in and still, I might get beat out by someone who spent $500. You never know. That is the fun of it. Spend, and have better players "on paper", and maybe have a better chance of winning, or spend less, find the bargains, and win Manager of the year and maybe even place in the money. If you want to be a part of THE most challeging draft with some of the most respected names in fantasy baseball, join us for MLBC 2 !!

I have two possible additions, will confirm with those later today. So we'll have somewhere between one and three openings.

This is the most challenging draft of the season if you like strategy and matching up against the best fantasy players. In the first draft entry fees ranged from under $200 to over $2,000 - lots of strategies can and will be tried at a price point for everyone. And you'll live in infamy as annual standings are archived on the MLBC blog.

I'd like to fill this today so we can get the draft order and draft room setup. If you're interested, today's the day to let me know.

Thanks for the thought guys, but I am at my limit for 2012! 6 Leagues is WAY more than I can handle already!
Have fun, I have no doubt it would be a blast! Maybe next year! :D

Ted can take that last spot; I was unable to secure a necessary partnership.

A new contract league is forming ... in August ???

YES !

This one will be LIVE and in LAS VEGAS. Check out the NFFC boards. That's right, the first-ever Contract lge for fantasy football.

Dan, can I persuade you to come back to fantasy football ... it misses you.

If anybody here likes fantasy football, you should be a part of this league.
For baseball, this draft is the most thought provoking draft available.
And, a league I look forward to playing in each year.
Highly recommended.

As for me, I've become a full time baseball guy, Kevin.
I still get my football fix every Sunday by betting teams and over/unders.
It takes less time than studying fantasy and is more logical for me.
My friends, knowing of my frugality, would be shocked at my annual contribution to the MCLB League. :D

I knew the likely answer before I asked Dan, but I had to try. ;)
