if true, it looks like the slow draft champion has a great chance to come from one of the early slow drafts. braun in the 3rd or 4th round will look like a megasteal.

I took him at 4.6. I thought his ultrahigh test results sounds fishy on the surface, but even if I was wrong, 4th round sounded about right to me.

I was wondering if the news over the weekend of Braun's potential exoneration of this suspension would affect his draft status. In the latest draft, I see he went 27th after going 38th and 39th in the two previous drafts. I'll have to keep an eye on this, but it looks like folks may be thinking that at the very least a reduction of that 50-game suspension is coming. I'll post here once we have a few more results in this week.

I'm the one that took him 27th. The news reported above had nothing to do with my pick as much as the picks before me. I felt, even with the 50 game suspension, that he was the best value on the board at my pick. I fully expect him to sit out 50 games. Had someone else fallen to my pick, I would have avoided Braun. That said, I already have him twice in other leagues, so I'm obviously higher on him compared to others.
