Came across this article something to think about maybe as the trade deadline looms in July. (I know a few weeks early) but a big what if. What if Gamel isn't the 1b the organization thinks (as a brew crew fan I'm skeptical) Do the phillies take Krod and his contract off the crew's hands (as lidge signed with the nationals and who's setting up for Papelbon besides Halladay, Contraes?? The crew would probably go with Loe or Veras as set up if they ship out Krod. Do the phillies move Mayberry to 1st and use Mayberry and wigginton? I don't know if this Everett is correct about this it will be interesting to see if the phillies do try to move him around the allstar break. Don't forget Doug Melvin likes pulling off deals and Mark Antanassio likes to put out a contending team.
