Set Roster Is Now Live, Plus Printable Grid Option

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Thu Feb 16, 2012 11:42 am

Okay, for the 32 Slow Drafts that are finished already, owners can now go into those team pages and get the season started!! You can now Set Your Lineup for Week 1!!! You also have full access to the Draft Results, Draft Board, Roster Grid and more. Enjoy.

Also, we've added a new feature this year where you can print out your Roster Grid. When you go to Roster Grid under Roster, you'll find a line at the top that says "Click here for a printer-friendly version of this page.' That will allow you to print the Roster Grid. That's new for 2012.

More to come yet today, but it's good to see that the season is already starting!! :D Good luck all.

Greg/Tom when do the Place holders on teams get updated? I have one in one league that jsut shows place holder still on my roster. Also it would be nice to see the place holders/names of placers drafted as place holders inlcuded in the ADP report.

Thanks
Mike

When are the players going to be updated with the correct team they are on, such as Jesus Montero being on the Mariners and not the Yankees?

Or does that have to wait until all the drafts are complete?

very good!! is there any way we can separate the reserve rosters into hitters and pitchers AND by hitter position? it is extremely confusing to do activation and reserves when the players are done alphabetically. as you know, i do a multitude of leagues and anything that can streamline and make reviewing my rosters more quickly and efficiently is VERY helpful. thanks much :D !

for me, this is an enhancement that is a top priority! :D

Totally agree. I just set my teams up and forgot that the reserves were listed in alphabetical order. Very Tough to do 5 - 6 Teams this way.

These are being updated as we get them. Just email me those Placeholders at [email protected] and we'll update them immediately. Everyone should be doing that. Thanks all.

I'm sure they will all be updated. I'll ask for a time-line.

This is an item on our To-Do list, but I'm not sure about the time-line. I've just asked. We didn't feel this had to be done ahead of other off-season enhancements, but we understand how being able to separate 27 reserves and 50 players makes sense. Again, we've noted the request and hopefully it's something we'll have time to address, especially with so many owners now managing these 50-man rosters.

Sweet! Thanks Greg! I assume you have answered this elsewhere. Are the two games in Japan part of the same scoring period as the opening weekend of games? Or is one Week 0 and the other Week 1?

They are part of Week 1. Everyone will be able to set their starting lineups for Week 1 after these games are played and everyone will have the same "advantage." But yes, they will be scored as part of Week 1; not a separate week.

Just looking at the “Set Lineup” page….

The first period is listed as… ‘Wed March 28- Thurs April 5’. The second period is ‘Fri April 6-Sun April 8’

But when you click the first period, the calendar of games is listed March 28 through April 3 (Games from April 4 and 5 are missing), when you click the next period (4/6-4/8) the calendar of games is April 6 through April 12(as it should be).

Basically what I’m saying is, the calendar to set your lineup for the Wed (4/4) & Thurs (4/5) {Opening Day} games is missing.
