Re: 6 Spots Left For Feb. 29 Online Championship League
Still SIX spots left for this league. Who else wants to take part and compete for the $50,000 prize and maybe The Lindy?

'Drafting early can sometimes be the best time to draft in these national contests:'
If this league competes with guys who draft in late March, after lineups are set, and players are cut, wouldn't those drafting later have an advantage? Inquiring minds want to know. And do you get a free agency budget in these 12 team leagues?
Also, do you have any stats from last year which reflect whether the majority of winners drafted early in February or late in March.
Either way, I want to try one of these, so count me in for the 29th. These are $150 bucks? Cheaper than a drug test in Milwaukee...

These are $350

Re: 6 Spots Left For Feb. 29 Online Championship League
Norm, I think the price point is $350. Need Tom or Greg to verify. As for advantage of late vs. early draft. Last year I drafted Beachy in rd. 28 in the first weekend ME. Between my first and second weekend ME it was announced that he had won the 5th starter competition in Atl. He went in the 18th round in the 2nd weekend and I was late to that dance. The advantage can work both ways.

On an opposite note, Brandon Morrow was going in the top 10 rounds the first weekend and got hurt before the 2nd.Spartacus wrote:Norm, I think the price point is $350. Need Tom or Greg to verify. If you feel your speculation skills are better than others, it can work to your advantage drafting earlier before all the information on a player is out and everyone's on him. It's riskier however as injuries, trades, lost jobs, etc. can change status and roles by the later drafts.
As far as the cost of these drafts, they are $350 with a discount package offered of 3 for a grand.
Re: 6 Spots Left For Feb. 29 Online Championship League
yep, for $350 you have a shot at 50K. not bad.

Unfortunately, I just found out that my father-in-law is quite ill and I think I better pull out for now. My apologies.
