WE NOW HAVE 300+ TEAMS IN THE NFBC MAIN EVENT, LEAVING US WITH LESS THAN 90 GUARANTEED SPOTS!! Nice job everyone for Feb. 18th!!

We also have 112 teams in the First Weekend Main Event, leaving us with ONLY 7 GUARANTEED SPOTS for that Main Event. That would give us 120 teams and 8 full leagues for the first weekend. Glad to be within 90 spots of a sellout even before spring training has started!! AWESOME JOB EVERYONE.

And we haven't even started charging yet for the Main Event. We may get to the payment process later this week, but remember to take advantage of the check paying option if you want free insurance on one player. Why not, right? All good.

As we approach 310 Main Event teams today, folks should know that we also have 116 teams signed up right now for the First Weekend Main Event. Once we get to 120 teams, we'll have to evaluate whether we can keep Registration open and try for another 15 teams. If you already have plans in place for that First Weekend in any of the host cities, please sign up soon or contact me at [email protected] to secure a spot. We don't want you to plan on attending that weekend and not have a spot available for that draft.

We topped 315 teams last night or 21 full leagues, leaving us with LESS THAN 75 GUARANTEED SPOTS LEFT IN THE MAIN EVENT!!! We now have 117 teams in the First Weekend Main Event, or JUST 3 SPOTS LEFT for an 8th full league!!

Okay, we have more than 325 teams entered in the NFBC Main Event now as we're having a big day today. We also went over 120 teams for the First Weekend Main Event, so we'll keep that open for now and try for a 9th full league and 135 teams overall. We actually have a shot at filling up each city perfectly on the First Weekend and we'll work hard to make that happen. It won't be easy, but we'll see how close we can get.

The Main Event spots are going fast and we're going to do what we can to get full leagues in every city. We'll have 22 full leagues soon enough and spring training hasn't even gone into full swing yet. AWESOME EVERYONE!!!

We now have enough signups for 22 full leagues as we topped 330 total Main Event signups today. AMAZING work all!!! Let's keep it going. We now are going to shoot for 135 teams for the First Weekend Main Event and try to sell out all three cities perfectly. I'm not sure if we can do it, but we are close enough to try. And then we'll try to close out the 390 with 17 more leagues on the second weekend. WOW. Exciting. Great job all and keep the signups coming in today.

We had our biggest day on record yesterday for the Main Event as more than a dozen new entries came in for our signature event. AMAZING DAY!! We now have more than 335 teams registered for the Main Event, leaving us with FEWER THAN 55 GUARANTEED SPOTS!! When we get to 390 we'll look over the city totals and then make a call on whether we have these perfectly set up in each city or not, and in fact we're doing the same thing with the First Weekend Main Event now, hoping to close that off at 135 teams. Keep an eye on these signups and don't be left behind. We're going to hit 390 sooner rather than later. THANKS ALL!!!

NFBC Charter Member Marty Bedell grabbed two Main Event teams today and an NFBC XII team to push us over 340 signups for our signature event. He's also the 94th owner to have entries in both Main Events. I'm liking that a LOT!! Anyway, if you're planning on joining the NFBC Main Event this year, DON'T DELAY!!! This week has proven that we're going to sell out sooner than we ever have before. What an amazing, amazing run all. Thanks.

Our Countdown Page is going to do all of that as signups come in. It's close and is now a real cool look at the overalls and every single event. I wish it was ready because you would have loved the Main Event countdown the last two days. Amazing. I think we have 35 signups for the Main Event in the last 3+ days.

Countdown Page should be ready next week and then we'll all have some fun watching all of those events go down to 0!!

We added four more Main Event entries this morning and now have more than 345 teams signed up for our signature event. We now have LESS THAN 45 GUARANTEED SPOTS IN THE MAIN EVENT!! Yes, if the cities don't match up perfectly we could go beyond 390, but right now the first 390 teams are guaranteed spots. Let's keep it going folks and reach our goals in all of our events. We topped 350 signups for the Main Event overnite and I'll introduce those new signups when I have a few free moments today. It's been an incredible rush this past week as everyone seems to be finalizing their plans. We are getting a bunch of Online Main Events, which is nice, but we sure do love it when folks draft with us live. Let's fill up some of those regional cities if we can. We still have plenty of time to make those cities fill with perfect leagues of 15.

Anyway, thanks for all your support everyone and let's keep things rolling. 40+ signups for the Main Event in the last 5 days is amazing and puts us on a path toward our quickest sellout of the Main Event EVER!! It will also be our 8th straight sellout of the Main Event, quite an accomplishment after we started with 195 teams in 2004 and still guaranteed the $100,000 grand prize.

Just a heads up that we now have TWO SPOTS LEFT in St. Louis as we lost two owners to other cities. We also have SIX SPOTS LEFT in Mahwah to fill up that second league. We still have plenty of work to do, but I know of a lot of NFBC owners who told me they are coming back again in 2012 who still haven't officially signed up. Finalize those travel plans folks and join us in March for the live drafts. You don't want to miss them this year. Thanks all.

But for now, the first 390 teams are guaranteed the Main Event spots.
