Also coming to the Mahwah Auction Championship is Frank Abagnale of Staten Island, New York. Frank is a first-time NFBC player who not only is taking an auction team in Mahwah but a Main Event team in Las Vegas on Saturday, March 31st. Frank was actually our 390th signup for the Main Event until one person backed out. BUMMER!!! Welcome aboard Frank and best of luck in the hunt for both league prizes and the $115,000 in grand prizes.

Dominic Cirigliano of Columbia Station, Ohio becomes our 103rd NFBC owner to grab spots in both ends of the Main Event doubleheader today. Dom is already signed up for the Chicago Main Event on Saturday, March 31st and today he added the NFBC XII Online on Wednesday, March 28th. It will be good to fill up NFBC XII drafts on the day that the season has a game in Japan and I'd love to fill both of these NFBC XII's online on March 27th and 28th. Welcome aboard Dom and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $4,000 league prize and the $50,000 grand prize.

Let's add one more signup to the Main Event Second Weekend as Dustin Wagner of Katy, Texas committed to our signature event today. Dustin joined us two years ago because he liked the auction format and he was already signed up for the $1,300 NL Auction League and the Auction Championship in Las Vegas, but he just couldn't resist the Main Event. Now that's a great tripleheader at the Bellagio on March 30-April 1. Welcome aboard Dustin and best of luck in the hunt for all of these league prizes and the $115,000 in grand prizes.

We continue to make a push with the NFBC XII teams as we added two more this morning. NFBC veterans Marc Meltzer of Jupiter, Florida and Ira Kerker can't make it back out to Las Vegas this year, but they are still interested in competing with us again and have grabbed NFBC XII Online teams on Friday, March 23rd at 7 pm ET and Saturday, March 24th at 7 pm ET. Marc and Ira competed in the Main Event last year and led their Two 84 Gators and Sons to a 12th place finish in Online League 2 of the Second Weekend with 58 points. Now they are ready to test their skills in the 12-team Main Event format and we wish them best of luck in the hunt for both league titles and the $50,000 grand prize.

We're glad to welcome back another NFBC Charter Member to the 2012 Main Event today as Don Mathis of Lakeland, Florida just grabbed a spot on the Second Weekend Online. Don & Judy joined us for our debut 2004 Main Event at the Rio in Las Vegas, came back there the next year and then drafted in Florida a few years before settling into the Online Main Event. It's great to have them back again in 2012. Don led his Sunshine Boys to a 7th place finish in Online League 1 of the Second Weekend last year with 79.5 points, placing 176th overall with 1,997.5 points. It's great to have you back in the Main Event Don and we wish you best of luck in the hunt for this year's $5,600 league prize and the $100,000 grand prize.

The NFBC XII got a major push this morning when David Hubbard of Angleton, Texas grabbed three teams, seeing the solid ROI in this contest. David and Nelson Sousa are teaming up for one team Online on Friday, March 23rd at 7 pm ET and David is taking another team Online on Sunday, March 25th at 1 pm ET. We now have 48 teams signed up for that First Weekend and could fill things up pretty nicely with 12 more teams. David and Shawn Coots are also taking an NFBC XII with us in Las Vegas on Friday, March 30th at 1 pm PT at the Bellagio. Thanks so much for your trust and support David and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $4,000 league prize and the $100,000 grand prize.

I'm behind on my weekend signups, but will try to catch up a bit now. Joe will be drafting live at the New York Hilton on Sunday, April 1st at 1 pm ET. Joe competed in the New York Live Double Play last year and led his Bleacher Bums to a 3rd place finish in the March 26th LDP League with 75 points. We're glad to welcome back yet another veteran NFBC die-hard to the 2012 event as Terry Lewis of Harrisburg, North Carolina becomes our 104th owner to take both ends of the Main Event doubleheader. Terry wasn't sure if he'd be able to play this year or not, but I'm glad he was able to fit us into his busy schedule with the Main Event Online during the First Weekend and NFBC XII Online on Friday, March 23rd. Terry was in a fun yet tough Main Event Online league last year as his MICK, BABE, TEDDY BALLGAME team finished 5th in Online League 3 of the Second Weekend with 99 points. That team finished 105th overall with 2,386.0 points. Welcome back Terry to both Main Events and best of luck in the hunt for this year's league prizes and the $150,000 in grand prizes.
