KDS Deadlines Set For The NFBC Main Events

We have the luxury of announcing a set schedule for our live events thanks to so many early registrations. I feel comfortable setting the schedule now because we are definitely going to sell out the NFBC Main Event and in turn the Auctions as well. So let's get right to it.

We don't want to give out draft picks too early before the live drafts because things can change quickly in spring training and thus so could your KDS strategy. But that being said, we want to get those draft spots in your hands at least a week in advance so that you can prepare for Draft Day. We always like to get your draft picks to you at least a week in advance and we will be able to do that this year as well.

So here we go with the schedule:

First Weekend Main Event:
KDS Deadline: Wednesday, March 14, 9 a.m. EST
Draft Picks Announced: Friday, March 16, ? p.m. EST

First Weekend NFBC XII:
KDS Deadline: Wednesday, March 14, 9 a.m. EST
Draft Picks Announced: Friday, March 16, ? p.m. EST

First Weekend Auction Championship:
KDS Deadline: Wednesday, March 14, 9 a.m. EST
Draft Slotss Announced: Friday, March 16, ? p.m. EST

First Weekend Supers/Ultimate Leagues
KDS Deadline: Wednesday, March 14, 9 a.m. EST
Draft Picks Announced: Friday, March 16, ? p.m. EST (possibly Saturday)

Second Weekend Main Event
KDS Deadline: Wednesday, March 21, 9 a.m. EST
Draft Picks Announced: Friday, March 23, ? a.m. EST

Second Weekend NFBC XII
KDS Deadline: Wednesday, March 21, 9 a.m. EST
Draft Picks Announced: Friday, March 23, ? a.m. EST

Second Weekend Auction Championship
KDS Deadline: Wednesday, March 21, 9 a.m. EST
Draft Picks Announced: Friday, March 23, ? a.m. EST

Second Weekend NFBC Diamond/Ultimate Auction

This is a consistent schedule that should be easy to remember for everyone. Obviously we ask for some leeway on some of the events if things don't fall perfectly in each city, but for now this is the plan. Everyone must be signed up, paid up and good to go before we officially secure your spot in any of these events. We are heading toward a record year in the NFBC, so don't delay if you want to be part of the competition. Spots are limited and as you can see we're moving forward fast. Let's get the season rolling!! Good luck everyone and THANKS for all of the early signups. That is what has allowed us to plan everything more smoothly this season. What a year in the NFBC!!

This is just a reminder everyone that the KDS deadline for the First Weekend Main Events and NFBC XIIs and Auction Championships is this Wednesday. We will announce draft positions on Friday, so please lock in your KDS preferences by this Wednesday. Thanks all.

Okay, lock down your KDS preferences for the First Weekend Main Events, Auction Leagues and NFBC XIIs this morning because we're ready to start picking the leagues and the draft spots. I think we can announce the draft order/seating arrangement tomorrow for the March 23rd Las Vegas Auction League and the Mahwah Auction League. That will get our weekend started nicely. I know the nomination order doesn't mean a whole lot in auctions, but knowing who you'll have to sit next to for the next 5 1/2 hours is important!! And it gets our Draft Selection Weekend started!!!

We are on pace to announce the Main Event leagues and draft orders on Friday late afternoon. We have all 150 teams locked and loaded for the First Weekend Main Event. Those will definitely be announced on Friday. The NFBC XII on Friday between Las Vegas/St. Louis and the Saturday Online NFBC for Saturday will be announced Friday morning. With any luck, we can finalize the Super or Ultimate on Saturday and one or the other on Sunday. We'll split those up a bit and give folks a day to digest their picks in one before seeing the next one.

That's the schedule for this week. It's nice to have leagues locked and loaded so early. We all benefit with that early preparation. Christmas Day is coming folks, so look for your presents in the next few days!!
