Herb was in the Main Event back in 2005 and a few years after, but last year he was limited to the Online Championship. Welcome back Herb and best of luck in the hunt for the $9,600 in league prizes, the $75,000 cash bonus and the $150,000 in grand prizes.

We're glad to welcome another new owner to our growing NFBC community today as Tony Egidio of Roselle, New Jersey joins the NFBC XII in Mahwah, New Jersey on Sunday, March 25th at 1 pm ET. Tony said he's been following the NFBC for a few years and always wanted to do the live event. He's doing it now in our debut 12-Team Main Event and looking to win right out of the gate. NICE. Welcome aboard Tony and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $4,000 league prize and the $50,000 grand prize.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
We now have 116 owners with entries in both ends of the Main Event Doubleheader as my NFBC die-hards are really coming through for us today. Let's give it up for Rob Giese of Shelby Township, Michigan as he grabbed a spot in the April 3rd NFBC XII Online. I like that one before Opening Day and we have ONLY 6 SPOTS LEFT for that one. Great stuff. Welcome aboard Rob and best of luck in the hunt for this $4,000 league prize and the $50,000 grand prize.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
We reached a full Main Event league in Mahwah earlier today when Doug Wallis Jr of Bloomfield, New Jersey and his brother Mike moved from the NFBC XII to the Main Event. We didn't want to lose an NFBC XII entry, but this worked out well for everyone. This is their first venture into our live events, but Doug and Mike and their whole team of owners are excited to be jumping into our signature event. Welcome to The Show guys and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $5,600 league prize and the $100,000 grand prize.

We now have ONLY 1 SPOT LEFT for the Main Event First Weekend as we are closing in on 150 teams and 10 full leagues. AMAZING EVERYONE!! Chad Pannell of Charlotte, North Carolina was signed up for the March 25th Super League, but when that one didn't fill he jumped at one of the last spots in the First Weekend Main Event. Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
We now have ONLY 2 SPOTS LEFT in the Chicago Auction Championship on Friday, March 30th as we welcome NFBC veteran Phillip Smith of Momence, Illinois to our Mixed League auction. Phil was with us all the way back to 2005 when we had $650 NL Auction Leagues in the Windy City and he later participated in our $650 Mixed Auction Leagues. He admits he's a Cubs' guy, an NL guy, but he couldn't resist the temptation to try his luck at this format. Phil is a regular at Ron Shandler's Arizona Fall League Symposium and I've gotten to know him through the AFL. He also attended the recent Chicago First Pitch forum and talked with others about the NFBC. That got him to jump back in with his son and we're glad to have him back after a year absence. Welcome back Phil and best of luck in the hunt for this year's league prize and the $15,000 grand prize.

Welcome aboard guys and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $4,000 league prize and the $50,000 grand prize. Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
It doesn't get any better than this. Like Glenn Lowy, who introduced his dad to the NFFC/NFBC last year, another East Coaster is getting his dear old dad involved in his favorite hobby. Let's welcome Stephen John Jupinka of Wellfleet Massachusetts, the dad of NFBC Hall of Famer and 2010 NFBC champion Stephen Jupinka, to the NFBC. Stephen Sr. has played fantasy baseball for the last 25 years and his hometown league is finally dissolving. He's looking for a new league and Jr. has the perfect landing spot for his dad. He's starting out in the NFBC XII and will have a team in the Friday, March 30th 1 p.m. Las Vegas League at the Bellagio. Welcome aboard Mr. Jupinka (we'll treat you with more respect than your son) and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $4,000 league prize and the $50,000 grand prize.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
Now how do you like this coincidence? I was at the Iola Post Office this morning mailing all of my goodies to Las Vegas -- which included Lindy Hinkelman's Hall of Fame plaque and NFBC championship trophy -- when the phone rang. It was none other than our favorite farmer from Idaho, looking to sign up for another league. I paid the Post Office and then locked in the CHAMP for the NFBC XII Online on Tuesday, April 3rd at 7 pm ET. LOVE IT!! Welcome aboard CHAMP and best of luck in the hunt for this $4,000 league prize and the $50,000 grand prize. Since you're already in the Main Event, maybe you can win and create another "Lindy" with the $75,000 cash bonus. You're eligible for both of them!!!

John Rundle of Pembroke, Massachusetts also grabbed a spot in that April 3rd NFBC XII League, giving us 9 owners for that one. ONLY 3 SPOTS LEFT for that date and then we'll close it out. John becomes our 117th owner to grab entries in both Main Events as he was already signed up for the Main Event Online. Welcome aboard John and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $4,000 league prize, $75,000 cash bonus and the $50,000 grand prize.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
I'm glad to welcome another new member to our growing NFBC community as James Milkowski of Las Vegas, Nevada will be joining our live baseball events for the first time on the Second Weekend. James has signed up for the Sunday, April 1st 10 am PT NFBC XII as we now have six teams for that final Las Vegas live draft. James joined the NFFC for the first time this year and had so much fun he decided to check out our baseball event and give it a try. He jumped into the 12-team format and is looking forward to meeting the gang and competing in this debut 12-team event. Welcome aboard James and best of luck in the hunt for this year's $4,000 league prize and the $50,000 grand prize.

Re: Who's Coming To The 2012 NFBC And Where?
We filled up two Second Weekend Main Event Online spots last night to bring us to 414 teams overall. That means we have ONLY 6 SPOTS LEFT for the Main Event and all of them are Online on the Second Weekend. Awesome job everyone. We are happy to welcome Ron Householder of Huntington Beach, California and his co-manager Dan Leonard to the Second Weekend Main Event Online as they added another team to their season of fun. Ron and Dan are already in the First Weekend Main Event and the Ultimate League and they wanted one more contest for the season. They were hoping for a First Weekend Super League, but this one will do.
Also jumping in last night was the Mastersball.com team of Todd Zola, Lawr Michaels and Brian Walton. I'm glad they were able to jump in because these guys have been promoting the NFBC with their weekly columns for years. They are going to pool their knowledge and their financial resources to draft this winning team. Glad to have you guys back in. Thanks everyone and best of luck in the hunt for this $5,600 league prize and the $100,000 grand prize.

We now have 14 teams in the Chicago Auction Championship as we welcome back Derrick Kaleta of Winnetka, Illinois to the 2012 event. Derrick returns to the Chicago Auction Championship after leading his Spahn, Sain & Pray For Rain team to a 3rd place finish with 94.5 points. That was a very tough, close league as Derrick finished just 1 point out of 2nd place and only 4 points out of first place. He's back for another shot at the title and will be with us on Friday, March 30th at 4 pm CT at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare. Good luck to you Derrick in the hunt for this year's league prize and the $15,000 grand prize.
