Weather Forecast For NFBC First Weekend

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Sun Mar 18, 2012 7:32 am

I used to have this really trusty NFBC weatherman who would post the 10-day forecasts for all of our cities heading into Draft Day, but with spring arriving in January in most parts of the country he's fallen down on the job!! He must just assume every day going forward is going to be sunny and in the 70s.

Weatherman King of Queens is lax in his duties, so I'll pick up his job. In the NFBC and NFFC since 2004, we've dealt with hurricanes, ice storms, snow storms, rain showers and more. We've never had an event cancelled because of weather, but we've certainly had some folks grounded at home because of it. The first season of NFFC in 2004 saw a hurricane prevent several owners from attending our live draft in Las Vegas and we've battled weather ever since.

So this is an important job. I'll have to let KOQ know he's fired when I see him this weekend in Las Vegas. Until then, here's the forecast for the week ahead in all 3 NFBC draft cities:

Las Vegas
Thursday: Partly Cloudy and 80
Friday: Mostly Sunny and 81
Saturday: Mostly Sunny and 77
Sunday: Mostly Cloudy and 73
Monday: Cloudy and 70

Mahwah, New Jersey
Thursday: Partly Cloudy and 69
Friday: Partly Cloudy and 68
Saturday: Mostly Cloudy and 62
Sunday: Mostly Cloudy and 54
Monday: Cloudy and 53

St. Louis
Thursday: Thundershowers and 61
Friday: Thundershowers and 66
Saturday: Showers and 62
Sunday: Sunny and 64

Safe travels everyone and dress appropriately for the weather.

Here's a shot from the pool at Bellagio. Not a bad place to spend a few extra days.

It's looking like rain in Jersey for this weekend. Good thing we are indoors.

What forecast are you looking at, ice cream man? It's going to be 73 and sunny in Mahwah come Friday, and cooler in the 60's on Saturday. You'll be fine there Mr. Snow Miser.
