12) i can casually announce in room full of nfbc players that i booked off the last three weeks from work and spent every day of my holiday preparing for next weekend's drafts, and no one would think that unusual.
13) everyone in the nfbc has an educated opinion how many at bats vinnie catricala will get in 2012.
14) winning in this arena means something.

People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring.

18) The most passionate fantasy baseball players in the industry BAR NONE!!
19) The most opinionated fantasy baseball players in the industry BAR NONE!!
20) The camaraderie at the live drafts. Nothing against you Online drafters, but you're missing A PARTY!! It's like a family reunion twice a year for those of us who do baseball and football. You just can't beat it, even with your own family.
21) Live overall standings in 2012. This will be the crack cocaine that will hook you folks for even more leagues in 2013!!! If you thought watching close races for prizes like $100,000 and $50,000 was fun before, wait until you see this new baby rolled out early this season. Live standings on your league pages and live overall standings this year as well. Crack cocaine for fantasy baseball addicts...and you know who you are!!!

22) Setting up Jim Christie in the NFBC Vegas Auction by filling his head in Phoenix the two
days prior with smoke screen info ( Thanks, Catch - I learned from my Lil Brother ) that he will
buy hook, line and sinker.
23) Drafting with Jim Christie in the Super League on Sunday and start to share with him the
real secrets to winning in 2012. This way, I'll help offset some of his ungodly team expenses for
the season with ALL of those leagues he has joined. ALMOST as bad as Glen Lowy.
24) Spending the weekend talking baseball, seeing old friends/foes ( Gekko, gonna miss you in Vegas pal - but after last season I understand why you want to stay in safer confines........
) and sharing a PRICELESS life experience with my Son. I truly
believe that these times will be things he cherishes and remembers for a lifetime. Hopefully, one day sharing with his kids
if he is an fortunate as myself.
25) Watching from the crowd as my close friends and CDM buddies receive Championship trophies for such great accomplishments against the World's best players in 2011. Yup, talking to you Lindy, Emmett, and Pat. In addition,
hearing Lindy's minuteman acceptance speech and rightful place in the NFBC HOF. Don't forget, you have the tab at
IP this year. I've invited Mazur and Jupinka to join us. Breakfast of Champions.......... and Bob. Sorry Spartacus, you
are a Champ in my book!
26) Sorry guys, one more............watching the MTM Super League Standings for six months as Mike Massotto will
finally go silent each passing day. Although, I'm cutting him some slack today because he nailed Lowy pretty good today
of the MTM thread!

Re: good things about the NFBC
The people that play at the NFBC are almost all good people. Friendly types that would help you out if you ever needed it if they were able. That is the best thing about it. Probably not a coincidence the operators are that way as well. Little things like people meeting at the bar that last Sunday night for some beverages last year make this a pretty cool place to play.
