love what you did at the 3/4 swing. Anyone but Josh Johnson as the number one and I would love that team. He was on my do not draft list. I just do not see how that shoulder gets healthy enough. Other than that not a whole lot of things to critique.

Yeah, I would have rather of had Wilson or Wainwright in the 5th but neither of them made it to me. I just hope J.J can avoid any injury issues. If he can I should be able to compete.

Anyone else have any thoughts on it? Anyone draft out of 14 hole or at the back go a different direction?

depending on who u use at Util, i have u very light in hr, rbi and sb. u have two of the best buy and hold guys in trout and Arenado. however, they better get in the bigs and produce quickly. i see u also have Teheran. it's gonna be REAL tough holding three unusable guys on your bench each week.

on the pitching end, u got some decent guys. a healthy JJ will go a long way in how it performs.

Seems as though there will be a few in the main event who will have the same problem ;)

No. Lv1 had a guy take 3 starters with his first three picks. We did have a guy that was late for the first two rounds. He got Albert and Verlander by default. So no big deal.

Apologies to you and the other 13 owners for this. No excuse for my lateness -- just Vegas getting the best of me.

Pujols/Verlander is a great start. Did it go downhill after you picked your own players? ;)

Having 24 picks between the odd and even rounds was a tremendous help in getting myself together (water, bathroom, etc.).

I still shudder to think about what could easily have happened here had I not showed up:

Pujols
Verlander
Starting Pitcher
Starting Pitcher
Starting Pitcher
Outfielder
Starting Pitcher
Starting Pitcher

LV1 had the drunk loud guy. He did get Pujols with 1st pick overall but did not get Verlander in the 2nd round. I was in that league and selected Verlander from the 11 spot on the wrap around in round 2. He took Pujols, GIancarlo and Lawrie with his first 3 picks.

The team drafting out of the 9 spot took the 3 pitchers with their first 3 (Kershaw, Halladay and Sabathia) - good luck on offense :D They then switched to the one dimensional player offensive strategy with all HR, BAD BA or only SB guys(M.Reynolds, Arencibia, JJHardy,C.Pena,BGardner). And finished out their staff with high K guys, high ERA/ratio - guys that can damage the work the top 3 will do
C. Kershaw , R. Halladay, C. Sabathia
B. Norris, R. Dempster, H. Bailey, E. Jackson, J. Danks
C. Kimbrel, J. Venters
D. Duffy, R. Wolf, P. Hughes, B. Fuentes
