Is this in the Main? Very nice!

Yes, this is a 12 teamer. I was curious to get feedback. I like some things about this team.. while I also see some weak areas. I wanted to see other peoples views before sharing what I thought was strong or weak. I like that some experienced fantasy baseballers give honest feedback on other drafts and was interested in thoughts on mine.

Thanks

Obviously I got Upton in part because he is starting the season banged up. Felt like I needed some steals and assuming his back issues fade, he could be good value even if I have to eat the batting average.

For future reference, it's helpful to include the rounds you selected players so that everyone can get a better sense of the flow of your draft and who else may have been available at your picks. Also, you should have mentioned that this was a 12 teamer from the start so that you didn't give us all near heart attacks :). I think you did an excellent job though and your squad should be competitive all year. Good Luck!

I think you might have problems with your back-end pitching

Are the main event leagues 15 teamers? I didn't know. I will add the round the picks were made in a little while. I like the team but agree with the one poster that pitching on the backend is suspect. I went into the draft convinced I wasn't going to take a pitcher in the first 3 rounds (securing starting pitching in rounds 4-10) and really wanted to attack offense but in the second round the two offensive players I wanted got taken right before me and I didn't like another offensive player until someone I thought would still be there in round 3 so I took Kershaw and changed course.

I am pretty high on Minor and feel that Samardzija will surprise with good stuff combined with being a great athlete/competitor. I expect I will have to work faab to strengthen the pitching staff.

This was my only knock as well, very strong otherwise. Hit the waiver wire early for some pitching options; if a few stick, you should be in decent shape with this roster.

I am curious as to how rosters are run in these events. Do people constantly change their lineups to get different players in based on off days or pitchers getting 2 starts. I am interested to see how faab works when managing a team over the long season. I appreciate the feedback. I agree that back end of my staff needs some work. I cannot wait to get Zambrano off this roster. Not only is he impossible to root for but his lack of command in the last 2 exhibition starts was pretty frightening...

Should be fun!
