Hitters & Pitchers Are Now Separated On Bench

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Thu Apr 05, 2012 10:04 am

We just added this to all of your team pages, but check out your Bench on all of your NFBC teams. The Hitters and Pitchers have been separated, giving you easier access to find the bench players you need to add to your starting lineup each week. This is especially important for the 1,050 Slow Draft teams that have to look through 23-man benches for their replacement players. Hopefully this slight change helps you find the players you need more quickly.

Thanks to the IT department for this quick enhancement. I know there are 1,050 owners who are happy right now and probably several more!!

Would it be possible to get MINOR LEAGUE designation? Kind of like the "DL" icon, it makes it easier to pick out your starters -- especially with a 27-man bench.

I'll wait for all of the new suggestions to flow in before making extra requests to our IT department. For every new enhancement we make there are suggestions for two more!! That's how the list never gets finished. ;) But we'll keep looking at this page to see where we can save you folks some time and add them when we can. It's good that you guys know we're still working behind the scenes to make the site better and easier to use each day for all the teams you purchased. The Slow Draft area is a huge new business for us and we want you guys to enjoy this season with those teams because we know next year is going to be even bigger and better.

We'll look at the added suggestions and meet next week over all of this in Chicago.

That is AWESOME Greg!!!
Only thing I would add would be a thin line _____________________ between the hitters and pitchers in both the Active and Reserve... But hey, its already better than it was and you just saved a guy like me and my 4 Slow Teams a lot of Time!!!! :D

We are looking into that. The fact that everyone has a different number of pitchers and hitters makes it a little tougher to program than it looks, but if we can add that or the colors like KJ suggested we'll be golden. We've improved it, but finding a divider between hitters and pitchers would make it PERFECT. Enjoy all and buy the IT guys a beer for this one. ;)

Agree Greg... This is the last thing you need, besides a Smart Phone APP to complete the perfect NFBC Experience... Well that and me holding the $100k Check at the end of the year! ;)
