The New York Mets

Post by BK METS » Sat Apr 07, 2012 3:02 pm

Are 2-0.... With the largest drop in payroll in major league history and starting position players up the middle:

Daniel Murphy, Ruben Tejada, Josh Thole, and Kirk Nieuwenheis... And of course, their #2 starter RA Dickey, on the mound.

Yes, they will most likely finish with 90+ losses, but for just 2 days in April 2012, we are on top of the world!!

Two Words...... LUCAS DUDA !!!!!!

And the Yankees are 0-3... life cannot get any better than this :D

Unfortunately, I get the feeling that things have a chance of turning around...

Glenn must be feeling pretty good right about now. His Mets are 3-0  and my Yanks are 0-3. That's worst start for Yanks since '98. That could be a good omen since I seem to remember that they won a few games that year!(125 including postseason)

4 and 0 my God

I will stop posting their record, when they lose a game. Until then (probably tomorrow), just trying to cherish the moment. The latest hero - Kirk Nieuwenhuis

Ouch...that one hurts
People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring.
