Well done Shawn, I was expecting a breakdown of the draft not the draftors. :o It's a glimpse into why the NFBC live events are so much more than just another fantasy league. You probably just convinced a new group of players to get to Vegas next season to take these guys down.

Shawn, very well done. You are correct, this is a special group of owners and you noted that with their passion and also their Career Money Winnings totals. Very impressive everyone. This is always a very fun draft as there is still a lot of banter among owners, good fun, but at much higher stakes than most of us can ever play. It's also the highlight of my year, along with the Ultimate Auction League. Just an intense, yet fun atmosphere for those live events.

I hope you keep this league front and center in your regular writeups. Next year I think we'll have this league broadcast live somewhere special. I would think that anyone with an interest in fantasy baseball would be interested to hear and see the happenings of a live draft where 15 owners are putting up $10,000 each. Nicely done.

Nice article Shawn, though I was of a similar expectation as KJ in that I thought you were going to break down the teams, not necessarily the players. :D
However it was an interesting twist and very well done.

By the way, I wish I had gotten 10 hours sleep those first three nights....the under wins. ;)

Excellent. I hate my team already and look forward to frequent updates on the general crappiness of my squad.

Is my donation tax deductible?

Shawn does a nice job of detailing each owners' NFBC Career Earnings, but don't forget KJ's ranking system for each of these guys and all NFBC owners. This is a good reference tool as well:

I for one am interested in Childs breaking down Glenn's strategy to punt wins.

At this pace, I should have just gone with the all-reliever strategy. At least then I'd have an excuse. :?
