Last year in Japan his WHIP was .828. Rotowire projected a WHIP for 2012 of 1.149. Do you think his command will get better?

After watching his 2 starts he appears to be Dice-BB 2.0. He has faced two of the worst offenses in MLB and is afraid to throw a strike. If he was facing a league average lineup today he gives up 6-7 runs in 3+ innings. Just terrible. If his stuff isn't good enough to go after MLB hitters, this contract will look as bad a Zito's!
