Why I hate pitching...

Post by Money Men » Thu May 03, 2012 8:03 am

Four starts yesterday...

Harrison, Romero, Halladay, Samardzjia

Plus a save opp for Betancourt

24 earned runs, WHIP near 2.000, and a blown save

But 3 wins and a K per inning.

 to keep from crying

Who doesn't hate pitching? For one of my teams, I had Hochevar and Niese destroy my WHIP and ERA for likely a millenium Tuesday night. No need to despair, I had Halladay and Shields going for that same squad the next night. I figured they'd help balance the ratio damage from the night before. :?

brutal.

poker analogy; arrogant euro uber-fish calls you all-in and hits his one-outer. you re-load, knowing full well he is going broke. and then some. two hands later he hits a gut-shot and stacks an emotionally un-stable vodka and bull sucking youngster. great you think, fish swimming w chips, and an aggro on tilt. dream table. then you see her out of the corner of your eye. your stomach drops, you know what's coming. perhaps as old as twenty, bra-less, she's wearing something you might generously describe as 'formal negligee'. dips in next to euro, whispers, he looks up, "racks!".
