My money is on Robertson, much better pitcher and could be their shut down closer of the future. If Robertson is available in any Main Leagues or other big money leagues, he will go for $400+ easy.

Two-for-one Castilla & Romo went for over $800 in my league...Robertson and Soriano have to be worth more!

My first big bids for a closer this week. Robertson in the 300s and 400s today. Still not sure I'll win one.

Robertson just went for $714 in my main event league (NY L1). Seems a tad high. Soriano went for $428.

Won for 430 in the main where I needed him the most.

Don't worry RT, I think his time has come.

I bid 531...wasnt even close for 2nd....I don't really need a closer, but Robertson is great and can put up Kimbrel type Ks with tiny era and whip...absolute beast as a closer.....
Sometimes I'm good and sometimes I'm bad....but I always try real hard.

Nice.. I bid $626 for him in my NY main and lost to a $714 bid. The guy that won him already has 2 solid closers.

Yeah, I can see in a NY league it would be an impossible bid.

I like Robertson, be he is no MO. Soriano is the better, experianced closer. 4 runs tonight, ugly..... and he threw so many pitches last night and tonight, he's done till Friday and probably till saturday anyhow.

Robertson just gave up 4 ER in the 9th blowing a 1-0 lead. Based loaded sac fly to B.J.Upton and then a 3 run jack for Matt Joyce :o . Welcome to the real world of closer volatility for NYY fans. Now we will see how truly great Mariano has been all these years!!

I've often said to my friends who are Yankees fans that they don't know how good they've had it for the last 16 years with Mariano. I even know some Yankees fans in their 20's who've never known another closer since they've started watching the game. They've all been so incredibly spoiled. Well my friends, welcome to 9th inning mortality where the rest of the world's baseball fans reside. Enjoy.

Yup and Dwayne Freaking Wise makes the last out, what difference without Mo!

Glenn, I have been a lifelong Yankee fan going back to the glory days of the late 50's and early 60's as well as the god-awful dry days of the late 60's and early 70's. I have told everyone that follows this great game of baseball that Mariano was the most important part of this late 90's to present day Yankee run and now that statement has been vindicated. You are absolutely correct that Yankees fans got spoiled by Mo and will find it to be very painful as they watch lead after lead slip away in late innings   !

11 pitch Save for Soriano tonight... threw strikes, gave up a cheap infield single on a double clutch throw from Jeter, stole second on indifference, scored on ground ball out.

Soriano in for the save in the 9th.... Robertson hasn't pitched due to sore ribs.. but it looks like it might be Soriano's job, he has done well.
