Not even Glenneration X has him. His team is leading the Slow Draft Championship, in case anybody missed this!

By the way, congrats Glenn - keep it rolling my friend.

Does anybody know if CHILDS profiled this guy?

Was he under consideration for Slow Draft #24, Shawn? :)

I did hear Mike "the Mouth" Massotto mention him on Draft night in Mahwah.

Problem is, I haven't heard a thing from Mikey since they tossed the first pitch this season. I mean,
outside of how much he dislikes the Live scoring.

COBB - have you heard from Mikey?

Just looked it up - Dale Thayer pitched out of the METS bullpen last season. Couldn't cut it there
with that stellar squad. So, he moves on and becomes "The Closer".

The only thing better than watching him get a Save is watching his post game interview......trust me
on this point. He is a gem.

Thanks Bud. I don't see it lasting for long unfortunately. I lost both Mariano and Luebke on that team last week with no viable replacements on the roster and due to the format no viable means to replace them off the roster. Still, if even only temporarily it's a proud feeling to be on top of 1,050 of the greatest fantasy players in the world.

By the way, I think I spotted Massotto on the side of the road with a cup asking for change and carrying a sign "Will Draft for Food".

Any video game geeks remember Thayer's Quest? It was a coin-op laser-disc game from the early 1980's in the same mold as Dragon's Lair.

Nope, haven't heard from him...I'm getting concerned. He could be mad at me for stealing one of his belts. Don't worry Mikey, it's on it's way to you buddy!! Please come back...we miss you!

It really is becoming tiresome listening to all the touts saying"this is the guy to grab for saves or that is the guy to grab for saves" . I could do better just throwing darts blindly and wind up with a prospective closer. As the saying goes " even a blind squirrel gets a few acorns" :o !

With Cris Sale going for an MRI it looks like my patience in holding on to Addison Reed may finally get rewarded :D :D ! Of course, who knows what is going on in Ventura's mind. He might just ask Wilbur Wood to come out of retirement and throw his knucleball for a few saves   !

They (touts/experts) are all like weatherman... most can do a better job of what the weather will be like by looking out the window.
