Back end of a double steal

Post by Atlas » Sat Jun 16, 2012 9:13 pm

It appears that Adam Dunn was the trail runner going first to second while Beckham was thrown out at 3rd.
Would/should Dunn have been credited with a SB? If they were both safe he would have, no?

If both successful, they are both credited with a stolen base.
If either Beckham or Dunn was caught stealing, the other runner advances by fielders choice.
No stolen base.

Sounds like someone practicing for a gig as an official scorer. ;-)
