We did'nt see things differently, he was schooled and I emphasised that, as you did. Too many people on these boards are nit pickers and hang on every word and sentence and always want to have the last word and be "right" if there is a such a thing as right.DOUGHBOYS wrote:Same game, yet we saw things differently.
Pettitte missed on two curves in Harper's last at bat. 2-0 and a runner on, he gave in with a fastball. You're being kind to Harper (as always) in saying that he made an adjustment.
He merely got a pitch he can handle due to being ahead in the count.
Harper was schooled today. It happens to every player. Even our favorites.

At the risk of being one of your 'last wordists' (shuddup spell checker) or thinking I'm nit picking or have a need to be right...
As a whole, fantasy players are literalists. (shuddup again, spell checker). If it is noted that Cliff Lee has one win, we have an inborn need for it to be correct, and will say he has zero. It's not the need to be right, nor is it nitpicking. It is just, correct.
If somebody disagrees with one of your assessments, again, they are not nit picking or have the need to be right, they merely disagree....

On my tombstone-
Wait! I never had the perfect draft!

go back and read Dan's post more carefully. Yes, you both agree Harper was schooled by Pettitte in his first 3 ABs. It's Harper's last AB where the difference lies and that is what Dan is referring to.
