Compete Against Greg Ambrosius This Week At FanDuel.com

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Tue Jul 10, 2012 1:46 pm

Okay, I cost Fanduel a lot of money last week again as a handful of NFBC owners beat me in their Friday night contest. With the All-Star break taking place this week and starting pitchers pretty well set for Friday, let's get as many NFBC owners in this contest as possible. It's only $10 to enter and there is $1,000 in overall prizes and a chance to win your $10 back just if you beat my score. It should be another fun week.

Here's the link for this week's contest:

Next Friday we'll do a $25 entry fee and see if we can get 40 or so owners to play at that level. But for now, beat me on Friday if you have the goods!!

I'll post my lineup tonight once all lineups are locked. Best of luck everyone and let's have some fun with this week's $10 contest. See you there.

My best week with this yet, though just short of the money positions. Rode Morales, Braun and Beltre to 46.75 points. Finished 14th.
Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.

Geez, another stinker for me. Thanks Jose Bautista and your MINUS 1!!! Okay, 89th with 23 points won't cut it. The customers win!!!

Next week we're going to change it up and have an NFBC customer be the rabbit in this contest. Stay tuned for details. Should be fun.

Greg,

I am one of many who were pleased that your Brewer of choice last week was Grienke and not Braun. I finished 31st, about 50 slots ahead of you. Just an FYI, but no one has yet to show me the money for beating you. My name over there is robertkirk.

Thanks again for your efforts. I have been loving your picks for the most part, but go ahead and bring on a ringer this week if you need to and we will have fun with that too.

Fanduel does a good job of updating your account every Monday after I tell them who beat me from the NFBC. Sorry, the delay this week was because of me as I got busy with something else in the morning and didn't send the list to them until the afternoon. There were a good dozen of you who beat me, but I still beat a few of you NFBC ringers!! Your accounts should be updated now and if I missed anyone let me know at [email protected].

Yeah, this has been fun, but this week I'm going to bring in an NFBC customer to be the rabbit. We'll see how you do against him!! Good luck all and look for more details on this week's contest later today.
