Steve Wells Wins NFBC Slow Draft DC Championship

CONGRATULATIONS to NFBC veteran Steve Wells of Las Vegas, Nevada for topping 1,050 teams for the $10,000 grand prize in the NFBC Slow Draft Championship. This was an incredible event with 70 leagues drafting from early October through late March in a Draft Champions format where no in-season moves were allowed after the 50 round draft. Each owner drafted 50 players and managed that roster every week of the season.

At the end of the day, Steve Wells won his $150 Slow Draft League 42 with 135 points (90 percent of available points) and finished with 9,239.5 points or 88 percent of available points. This was really a fight to the finish as many owners were in the top spot throughout the year, but in the last month Steve Wells put his Las Vegas Ratpack at the top and eventually defeated Scott Winthrop by 167 points for the title. CONGRATS STEVE.

CONGRATS also need to go out to Scott Winthrop for his second place finish, followed by Dan Semsel, Jayson Pope and Eric Albright. Great job everyone and congrats to all of the league winners and money finishers for a job well done.
