This is my first entry into NFBC and I have heard it is very reliable, however does anyone else find it odd that the top 3 picks in Tampa 3 all belong to NY attendees?
Also, according to the rules it states all entries at each location will randomly be selected for leagues, however it looks as if the last entrys for Tampa have all been thrown together.
Any comments?

Any comments? Let me put this one to rest...
If you check out the sign up board and write down the last 15 names, you will find that 5 are in TB3. Picking 2-3-7-10-13. They are from NY-NY-TB-LV-LV respectively.
Todd Zola (15) was the 10th to sign up for TB also.
Looks 100% random as it always has been.

I find it more odd that King of Queens got #1 pick. This is already under investigation by the recently hired subsidiary of Gekko Industries.

It's my partner, I swear. Last year he had his own team in the NFBC and drew the #1 pick. He and I partnered in the NFFC main event, and drew the #1 pick. This year's NFBC? Bam!

the #1 pick is not the panacea people tend to believe. The 1st two years of the NFBC produced only 2 league champs from the 1st spot. But now the #1 is clearly AROD who is clearly this years LT. Even with ARODS extraordinary #'s last year which you would kill to have reproduce - only 2 league champs out of 20 last year had him.

Any comments? Tampa Munchers...I signed up long ago and am one of the folks who have been in since the first year. Looking forward to Tampa League #3...good luck to all and here is hoping you all finish second overall!

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.
