It looks like sign-ups have slowed down a bit over the past week. Right now we are at 21 people for the $150 leagues. At some point, Greg, could we ask how many of us (the 21 who are signed up) are interested/willing to do TWO leagues? I am, and I bet at least a few others are as well. Then we could move the rest of the owners around to be able to fill two leagues. Did that make sense? If not, sorry. Dave

I'll take a spot in the 2nd $150 draft. Josh Rasmusson

Any chance we could get a Monday Nov 12th start date? Or sooner :D

What happens if we go over 8 hours? I have some work days over 8 hours. Will we be able to make a remote pick maybe by text?

dont worry, as soon as Greg announces a firm date on when these will start, filling 2 leagues wont be a problem.

If people could use auto one round when they were even 1 pick away, I would bet at least 2 days would be shaved off a draft.

Hey Greg! I will bring some Wisconsin Cheese to the $375 Slow Draft, but I can't start until around December 1st or so. I will be gone deer hunting A LOT and away from the computer / smart phone!
I think if you put a for sure Start Date of Monday December 3rd or something like that, this baby would fill up!

Okay, I apologize for being out of touch recently everyone. It was 9 days on the road and the trips couldn't have gone better. We have some deals in the works that could bring the greatest exposure to the NFBC/NFFC/NFBKC and some new ideas we are pitching around. I can't say anything yet, but 9 days away were well spent.

Let me get through a morning SiriusXM show in 10 minutes and then I'll discuss our plans for the Slow Drafts and more. I have lots of content to talk about from the Arizona Fall League on the NFBC boards, so be ready to kick some ideas around. I also have some AFL draft results that I'll post here soon. Lots to talk about on the boards.

Give me a little bit this morning and I'll be on here with more answers and plans. Thanks.

When did you guys start last year's $375 Slow Draft? Let me know and I'll reach out to all 15 owners and give them first dibs to start that one again. Yes, anything after Dec. 1st is definitely doable. If you say Dec. 3rd, consider it done and we'll get that set up in plenty of time and hit the start button for that day. No problem there at all.

Again, sorry for being out of touch but we're good to go on a lot of things. More details to come soon. Thanks all.

Hi Greg,
I had down that we started on December 5th last year. There are enough guys on the boards, just put the first $375 Slow Draft starting on Monday, December 3rd on the top of the $375 list and it will fill pretty quick. LIke this.

NFBC $375 Draft Champions National Championship League
STARTS MONDAY, DECEMBER 3rd at 9:00am EST
50 Rounds, 8 hours per pick, 15 teams, Pay Top 3
1. Jon Stadtmueller
2. Josh Rasmusson
3. Gaetan Lavoie
4. Scott Liebman
5. Dave Taylor
6. Max Ogden, Neenah, WI

Might as well start the NFBC $1000 SLOW "MAX-PAIN" Draft Thread too... MtM and I will surely be back and I know a lot of the guys will be back as well! I will send out an email to all the guys! I will most likely have a new thread for that one started too at some point for MtM and I to trash talk on! I would guess Ralph Ehrman as our new Champ should also be counted on to be back, but I will check on that!

3rd Annual NFBC $1,000 SLOW "MAX-PAIN" Draft Owners List (All 2012 Owners will get first chance at their spots for 2013)
1. Max Ogden Neenah, WI
2. Mike Massotto, Caldwell, New Jersey (2011 CHAMP)
3.

Okay, let's get a timetable to start the NFBC Slow Drafts. Our goal internally has been to get everything done by the middle of the month. With that in mind you could logically say that starting drafts on Monday, Nov. 19th would be a good timetable. But Thanksgiving is Thursday, Nov. 22nd and the last thing I want is to have people getting upset because some guys are taking too long to pick or having guys having a tough time getting to a computer during Thanksgiving Day or that weekend. It's a tough, tough travel time for everyone, so let's enjoy the holidays and kick off the baseball season after that.

Let's shoot for the start of drafts on Monday, Nov. 26th. I'll check with IT to make sure that's doable, but I'm pretty sure we are good to go. We'll have Registration well before that, so we can set up full leagues in advance, have you guys prepare your player default lists and smack talk in the league forum and more. Setting up the full leagues earlier than that won't be a problem. Then we can turn on the draft room on that Monday and get the season started. We know a lot of you are itching to go, so let's set a firm draft date and get it on!!

I'll even put the starting date on the Signup List now and move forward. Again, I know many of you want to draft NOW, but it's important for us to finish some technical things that will last throughout the drafting season, get Registration perfect online and then get through the holiday season. Then we'll have 4 good months of drafting and 120+ days for Draft Champions Leagues. What a season it's going to be.

Thanks all and let me know if that schedule works.
