No, Sack jumped out and did the right thing by maintaining his loyalty to The Family, aka The MTM Super. He has a bitter taste that he needs to get out of his mouth from last year, Saxton, and it aint what you're thinking.

May as well remove Poopy from Friday night's auction, too. He's not leaving The MTM Super Family either! 8-) Besides if he did, the other guys would kill me for letting such easy money walk from the league! And Ericson has to answer for his supposed defection as well. Unfortunate for the Ice Cream Man that his route just so happens to come dangerously close to my neighborhood.

Hey Tom, not to be a pain in the ass, because that's just not me , I believe you have more than one spot left in this Friday night auction because Magner and Lins are sticking with the MTM Super that same night. I will update that thread shortly to bump it up the boards and get the participant list going. It's also quite possible that Roy may decide to sticking with us as well. Thanks.

I talked to Roy yesterday. He asked me to sign him up for this league. As far as Ken and Michael, if they are dropping out of this league they need to let me know. So guys if you're reading this tread and that's your plan let me know and I'll remove you from the list. Thanks.

Tom,
I spoke with Roy to day, too. He wants to make both this and the MTM Super work. We probably won't get started until like 8:00 pm anyway like last year, so this will be helpful in accommodating both leagues without conflict Friday night as we did last year in Mawah. Magner and Lins will have to let you know directly that they're only in for the MTM that night.

Tom,
Mike isn't the only one. Spoke to Roy as I said, and I just got a PM from someone else that wants in for the MTM if there is a spot available, but wants to do the auction just prior as well. Don't think starting at 4:00 instead of 5:00 should be an issue. Either way, kicking off the MTM Super around 8:00 or so like last year should help in this capacity. This is a simple solution to accommodate as many people as possible in both leagues. 8-)

If we could work something out, it would be greatly appreciated. From my end, I will work on a partner or back up options as well. Either way, Jupinka gets his a$$ kicked :D

None of my business and I don't have a stake in this, but it could be scheduled like a Men's/Coed softball tourney.
The 5:00 and 8:00 times can stand, but with the understanding that the 8:00 game will not start till the 5:00 game is over and players have arrived. Same for 4:00 and 7:00, etc, etc
On my tombstone-
Wait! I never had the perfect draft!

Mike, I don't think we'll be able to get an auction done in four hours. Baseball auctions typically take around 5 hours to complete, sometimes longer. We also may have people playing in both the 10 am auction and this one so I want to give them enough time between events to prepare, rest up etc. Even if we push the start of this auction back to 4 pm ET, we'd have to start the Super around 9:30 pm at the earliest to make this all work which means we're in the room until around 2 am. I'm not even sure we can have the room that long.

My advice for those who want to do both is to have a partner come with them if possible. That may be the best solution. Another option would be to move the Super to Saturday night after the Main Event. Roy had asked about that. If everyone in the Super was willing to do that, it would enable people to play in both if they want. But if the desire is to keep the Super on Friday than unfortunately it may not be possible for people to do both without a partner. Neither Greg nor I like asking people to choose but we've explained the reasons why this year may put us in a position where that may be unavoidable. Hopefully going forward we won't have to deal with this type of issue again.

Tom,
We need to keep the MTM Super on Friday night. Most of the guys returning for it won't be drafting in the Main the next day, and even if they were, we wouldn't be able to go out for our post-draft dinner and awards ceremony until all hours of the night afterwards with Easter the next morning. Everyone I've spoken to so far is planning on Friday night, so let's keep it for an 8:00-8:30 start like we did last year, and those who want to manage it with a co-owner and cross over from the 5:00 p.m. auction can do so if they'd like. Still don't see why a 4:00 pm start for this auction would be prohibitive. There would be at least an hour between the 10:00 a.m. auction and this one based on your time projections. Don't think you're going to lose the one or two who want to do both doing it this way. This gives all three of these events maximum exposure that day.
