Slow-Draft Options - Sign-Up for Four-Hour Draft Limit

Post by Bronx Yankees » Fri Dec 21, 2012 7:22 am

Based on recent threads asking for different time options for slow drafts, I would like to see if there is interest in a $150 slow draft with a four-hour limit. I think it will be essential that teams communicate well during nighttime hours to minimize inconveniences, but otherwise it should be a blast and more fun for those of us that like our slow drafts a little faster-moving than the normal eight-hour limit drafts. I hope this works well.

Ill do one too after the holidays too. Maybe Tom/Greg can set up an offical thread and let it fill up. As greg said, people have to be ready and comfortable using auto pick and at the vey least quing up players

Thanks guys. A word of caution - I understand now that to get one of these going, we have to get the 15 teams committed on the Message Board and THEN do the signups. I screwed-up earlier and signed up for a slow draft to get this started. I was automatically entered into the current "normal" slow draft filling up. Although Greg gave me the option of deleting that signup, I decided to stay in the normal slow draft as there did not seem to be a huge interest in getting a four-hour limit draft up and running quickly. Thus, I think you are right and this concept probably needs to wait until at least January.

This format is for me as well when I start drafting. I won't be ready for at least another month.
