Okay, here's the details for what will be our annual NCAA Viewing Party in Las Vegas:
There is a link on Registration now that says NCAA Viewing Party. Everyone who is coming to this event MUST be signed up for this. It's the only way I can order the right amount of buffet food and to have enough Corona's on stock!!
Cost is $100 per person, which includes buffet dinner and dessert. Also includes beer and soda until our money runs out. We'll have drink tickets for the whole group and should be fine from 4-9 or 10 pm PT.
It also pays for the projector screen TV in the room for that night. I'm still working with the AV department on that. We know we can get one of the 8 featured games on that one, but we're working on a few other items. We'll see what we can do in that ballroom with the DirecTV feeds they get.
We will be in Monet 1 of the Convention Center, which is right around the first corner after the entrance to the pools. We have a beautiful outside patio overlooking the pools. This is the same room where we held last year's NCAA Viewing Party.
You can bring guests, but it is $100 per person because we're being charged for each person there. Games start that morning around 8 or 9 am and many of us will meet in the Bellagio sportsbook that morning. There are never any seats available there, but it's really an electric atmosphere there and we can all stand and lose money together before heading down to the party!! We'll pick out a spot to meet that morning if you're in town early.
Then we'll go down to Monet 1 at 4:00 or a little earlier and have some fun. I think this will be a great time and venue to get to know your fellow NFBC peers and it will be the perfect kickoff before the start of the drafting season. Lock in your spot for the party at least 4-5 days before March 21st so that I have a good idea on the amount of food and drink needed and we'll go from there. Thanks all.
