James, that is just going to drive Massotto to new levels in order to have me play in some of his high stakes leagues.

Thanks Partner, wherever we land next season in Baseball one thing is certain. MTM is going to help fund our cause. Why
should next season be anything different from the past? I've heard he has won in the past, just not in ANY league he has entered against us or my good pal Joe Anthony.

For the record Mikey, I flew first class to see Joe.............we do things the right way. ;)

Don't instigate, Christie, Sack. You've been a bad enough influence on him already. :P And the only way you're going to impress me is if you fly first class out to Vegas like the supposed high-roller you are, and get yourself in the Diamond where you belong since you seem to be needing my 'donation' so badly this year despite all of your FFB earnings.

Baseball Furies wrote:Incredible that this thread dropped off the first page, when it should still be all the rage! Just a quick update, Greg. I have gotten a bunch of PM's and emails about the $100,000 pay out structure that was thown out there by myself and others who were pushing me to put it out there. From what I can tell, based on who is still lined up for this second diamond event, I don't think we would get any or much pushback if at all if you were okay with backing it as well. We can still see what happens, and we don't have to make anything final yet. But since it still seems like it's on everyone's mind, can we throw it out there for a final vote? No harm in trying since you're also throwing around some other ideas that are different from the norm with this event (ie. live picking of draft spots to name one that I recall). I have even heard from at least two owners who were on the fence about it before, but are now game for anything based upon what the majority decides. So what do you say? 8-) C'mon, I will even facilitate and fill a live draft for you during the NCAA Viewing Party since we're going to be there for several hours anyway. I'm sure I can come up with some sort of unique twists for that one. What do you day? :D
Just bumping this up the thread, Greg. Please respond to it when you can here, and/or give me a call. Thanks. :)

I'm happy to report that not only do we have TWO SOLD OUT NFBC DIAMOND LEAGUES this year, but we have a waiting list of owners for each one, too!! AMAZING.

Okay, what we need to do here is finalize each league and start to get payments into us. We are asking that participants send checks to the STATS offices by Monday, March 4th if possible. We are only taking check or money orders for this league. Make those out to STATS LLC and send to:

STATS LLC
Attn: NFBC Accounting Dept.
2775 Shermer Road
Northbrook, IL 60062

I will email all of the participants in both leagues about this as well, but if you are on this list and you can't participate for some reason, please let us know ASAP. We have backups who want to get in if possible. Let's finalize this and then decide when we want to pick draft spots for this league. Everyone in the NFBC Diamond Leagues: Look for an email from me today about payment plans and to confirm that you are DEFINITELY IN the NFBC Diamond League. I want to finalize these two leagues and get everything set up for March 23rd and March 24th. Heck, I'll even ask for menu items to make sure we're all on the same page. These two Diamond Leagues are going to be a FREAKIN' BLAST in Las Vegas and they will be a great way to end Saturday's and Sunday's drafts. Should be fun.

Thanks all and it's going to be a day of emails from yours truly!!

Well, this was fun today. I heard from all of the owners on both Diamond Leagues and all 30 spots have been spoken for. I wish I could get the folks on the waiting list in, but as of now it looks like everyone is in. Next year we will have to get the Saturday night and Sunday night dates locked in early and take signups even sooner. Thanks all.

Unless something changes, the top 15 on each list is in and verified. We still need payment from everyone, so don't jump off the list just yet, but if you were holding out hope about getting in give me a holler and we'll see if there's another option available. We do have spots in the March 25th Ultimate League if anyone would consider that next day option. Thanks all.

I'll keep everyone informed about these leagues, but CONGRATS ALL!! You are the Top 30 in this year's American Idol!!!

Sounds like it's time for a THIRD Diamond. Just post it Greg. I'll just take my customary 10% to fill it up for you. ;)

Okay, everyone should have this league on your team pages. Set your KDS and we'll figure out a KDS deadline for each one separately via email. Chad has proposed a later deadline for these and some agree. Some want draft picks announced like we have in the past. But again, these are two private leagues so I'll take this to a private vote via email early next month and we'll figure out a good plan. I'm cool with whatever you folks want. This is YOUR league, so let's have a good compromise, even if both leagues have different KDS deadlines.

Should be fun.

Nah, we're set for 2 Diamond Leagues Mike. We still have some Ultimates and Supers to fill yet and I'm confident we will.

Now, for the NFFC, we already have two full Diamond Leagues and I think we have an outside shot at a 3rd Diamond League there. That's crazy, but I like the momentum there as well. Should be a fun, fun 2013 in all three sports.
