There must be some kind of mistake. I don't see Doughboys on that list.
C'mon Dan, where you at ? It won't be the same w/out you.

Yes, it's a mistake that he made other plans for part of that week. I'm still going to add him as a chat participant!rockitsauce wrote:There must be some kind of mistake. I don't see Doughboys on that list.

Re: MLB Contract League VII
Really, you couldn't put the $4 guys on here ? You know how we Royal Astro Pirates like to roll
Even I can't miss the guy who shoulda won AL MVP but I'm gonna hafta break out one of those $8 magazines that Shandler speaks of to make sure I don't miss any other bargains.
You're better than this Rage Kage
well, if Dan isn't competing at least we'll enjoy his witty banter
maybe learn some more innerestin' tidbits from King Dorito

Re: MLB Contract League VII - ONE SPOT LEFT
Ideally, we could do a live draft slot bidding session, but it is difficult to get everyone together on short notice. Last season we did KDS for draft order, but the top few spots look valuable so we will go with a luxury tax for the top five picks which will work as follows:
- The top 5 draft slots will be assessed a FAAB tax.
- If you prefer not to pay for a top 5 spot leave those slots off your KDS selection.
- The selection order will be assigned randomly and then follow everyone's KDS preferences.
- If you win a top 5 draft slot your season FAAB will be reduced as follows for picks 1-5: $250, $150, $100, $75, $50.
Send me your KDS today and I will pick the draft order tonight (assuming the last spot fills).

Re: MLB Contract League VII - ONE SPOT LEFT
I've got one guy sniffin' the last spot, but no commit yet. Still room for someone to jump into the best online draft of the season.
Meanwhile, I have KDS for everyone that's signed up so far ... thanks all. As soon as I get a 15th owner with KDS we'll get the draft order set.

Gekko, where you at man? I'd love to see what you got for us in this format (and on the other hand I'm very well aware to be careful what I wish for

No matter who, you will love it, guaranteed

Re: MLB Contract League VII
And we're full ... draft order should be up shortly.
* 30-round draft with FAAB
* Salaries, rules, history are on the blog ... http://mlbc10.blogspot.com/
* Draft will run on mockdraftcentral, league will be hosted by the NFBC.
* We'll start the draft Thursday am. It should take 7-10 days.
* Draft order will be determined by KDS with a FAAB luxury tax on the top 5 picks
* After the draft, we'll hold a one-time live chat auction (using season faab, not real dollars) for undrafted players.
* I'll text to keep in touch and keep things moving at a decent pace; get a partner if you'll be unreachable for long periods of time. Funds will be collected right after the draft except for the $125 minimum which will go to STATS once Greg has the league set up.

I basically transformed myself into middle of last year into a buyer and ended up stuck in the middle which is the worst place to be.
I told KJ..the powers that be are clamping down on me this year.
Re: MLB Contract League VII
My normal order picker didn't respond, so I ran the MDC ramdomizer. Here is the result - now I'll run thru KDS and post draft order shortly.
