Everyone should log-in to MDC (ASAP) and confirm that they can see this league under pending drafts.

Draft will begin thursday morning at 9am edt.

Also, I've added Dough, Joe Anthony and RT as observers. RT is partners with Shawn, Joe will be helping David and I added Dough because if he's around I hope he stops in to chat. :)

Like a claymore mine, I see the light, I see the light, I see the light

Selfishly I wish we'd start tomorrow or Wed. (only work in the evenings Mon-Wed) come Thurs - Sun. it's 7am to 7pm :(

I did just get back from Walmart and got one of these straight talk phones, so hopefully it will enable me to keep up. If not I always have Joe.

One drawback I've learned is they tell me I can't use the straight talk phone as a "hot spot" in connection w/ ipad. Seems unfair, they advertise it as unlimited data.

Anyways, good luck everyone, look fwd to chatting w/ y'all throughout this most excellent draft that KJ has created :D

I think its gonna be Gus Bradley....Lovie Smith probably the backup plan to that.

for some reason, they are ignoring Jon Gruden but interviewed his bro today.

I would love to be third pick...can we trade spots? lol

Normally I prefer picking from the end, but Joey would probably kill me if I swapped from this prime locale 8-)

I'm hoping against hope you don't steal McCutcheon from me. I'd hate to be left with Trout as a consolation prize. Image

If I were you I'd let everyone know that you're the man to be feared by grabbing Cabrera with that pick. Set the tone my friend.

Now that I'm looking over the list of candidates for my #6 pick, I see 5 guys I'd like to have. Wish I would've ponied up the $50 FAAB to have locked one down. Now I have to hope for slippage. :?

You might have to bring that old fashioned hopper you use to select names to Vegas with you, KJ. I've been selected 13th and 14th the past two years.

I have a pool at the Bellagio right outside the ballrooms that I would like it meet.

Must be something in the algorithm - maybe try a name change next year?

Well, if we're talking algorithms I'll just contract the services of Lord Zola for an hour to crack the code for me!

Maybe I should open up the draft room now! I'm getting itchy to draft, or least chat. I could just keep the clock on pause.

I changed the start date to tonight, of course no one needs to pick until Thursday morning but we can get in a little trash talk before the official beginning.

Go for it. Alan's itchin' to start us off by grabbing MCab at the bargain basement price of $210. I don't know what I'll do if he steals him from me. :(

Day late and a dollar short, unfotunately I had some log in problems here over the weekend and couldn't get my name here in time. If another contracts league would form, let me know. So who's the first pick, A-Rod? Most expensive contract, that makes him the best, right?

We're putting out an APB on Mr. Ken "Bama" Norred. If anyone knows the whereabouts or can contact Bama to let him know his leaguemates in the MLBC are concerned about him please post here or text Commish. KJ

Bama was last seen partying w/ this lady while celebrating his beloved Crimson Tide's latest National Championship win over Notre Dame.

... he's planning an evening appearance tonight, so long as he doesn't get ^ "sidetracked" ^.

Maybe we should've used the FIFO method for draft selection.
