SOLD OUT: 4-Hour Draft Champions League #2
Okay, we are doing everything we can here at the NFBC to accommodate all of the lifestyles, ADD personalities, work schedules, and time schedules of everyone in order to enjoy the Draft Champions Leagues. Our regular format is an 8-hour time period between picks and those are filling up almost every day. However, we have added some unique DC drafts that let's people sign up for faster portions of these DCs.
Below are some lists that accommodate everyone. Obviously, we need to fill them first, but check them out below. If you like any of these formats, LET ME KNOW. Please DO NOT SIGN UP ONLINE FOR ANY OF THESE!! We have the system automated for the next 8-hour draft and I will have to manually set up these leagues. As you can see below, we have some leagues with only 4 hours per pick, some with regional owners in them and even some that pick all day and allow you to sleep at night. We've seen that some of these can be finished in as short as 6 days. WOW!!
The format that I think will catch on the most is 4 hours between picks. This is a setup for folks who aren't afraid to use the 1 Round Auto Pick feature and know how to set up their Que. I think that format will get done in 10 days or less. We have one full league drafting in that format right now and we have spots for a 2nd league below. Check it out.
I'll update all of these unique leagues on this thread, so if you want to get into any of these please email me at [email protected] or post your desires on this thread. Thanks all.
See the current signups below:

This next option is to try and encourage more picks per night for those drafters in the same time zone. So let's set up an East Coast NFBC Draft Champions League and a West Coast Draft Champions League. These are 8 hours per pick, but with folks in the same general area of the country. Hopefully this will speed up some nightly picks as folks gather during similar hours. So here are the two signup lists for those:
NFBC East Coast Draft Champions League
15 teams, 50 rounds, 8 hours per pick
Starts After Jan. 15th once we get 15 teams
1. Dean Harkey
NFBC Midwest Coast Draft Champions League

With all of these leagues now automated, we need to sign everyone up at a certain time to form these special leagues. We'll show you how once we reach 15 names on any of these lists. Thanks all and ENJOY!!
Here's one more unique DC draft:
It is a $150, 50 Round Draft, 8 Hour Clock (for sleep only)
We are looking for a well paced draft with Message Board contributions.

Re: 10 SPOTS LEFT In Next 4-Hour Draft Champions League
Maybe the "Coast" Leagues could get their own thread so they can fill? Or maybe pluck owners from the existing 150 signups? Not sure these are getting any notice. I'd like to get started. Thanks!

That could be an NFBC record, in the dog house on 1/18!
Greg, I have a ? regarding that 4-hr time clock draft. Is it really an 8-hr timer, you're just expected to draft within 4-hrs? Or are you expected to set your alarm clock every 4-hrs in the middle of the night? I would definitely be in the dog house then! LOL

I would imagine some people don't have a choice, espeically trying to hide 15 drafts by mid-January!Baseball Furies wrote:I would be lying if I told you that I wasn't taking some sick pleasure over this post at your expense.Gekko wrote:i would sign up, however the mrs told me to cut that baseball shit out effective immediately. looks like i'm in the doghouse for a whileAlthough this is the exact reason why I keep the wife almost totally in the dark about my "baseball shit".

Heck, the slow, I mean, 8-hr DC I''m doing now is "just a mock draft with co-workers"!

It helps to pay for these with my own CC, otherwise, I'd be doomed.

Frankie Frisch said it right. "Baseball is like this. I'm reaping the benefits of a couple good years...and some well timed gifts to the significant other, paid for with fantasy baseball winnings.
People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring.
