Hinkelman, O'Brien On Tonight's STATS Fantasy Advantage
Tune into the STATS Fantasy Advantage show tonight on Sirius from 7-9 pm ET. Among our guests will be Lindy Hinkelman, the only two-time Main Event champ in NFBC history, and Michael O'Brien, the 2012 Online Championship title winner. Greg and I will be your hosts and with any luck I'll be able to hear the guests this week. That's the STATS Fantasy Advantage from 7-9 pm ET on Sirius Channel 210/XM87.

Thanks Greg and Tom for having me on. That was fun actually. Tough having to follow up the great Lindy Hinkleman as a guest, though. Hopefully I do good enough this year to maybe get on the show again. Can't wait to see you guys in Vegas in a little over 6 weeks.
Something I meant to ask while I was on the show, and didn't get a chance to, but I was wondering if you knew the percentage of NFBC players that play the NFFC as well. Am I in the minority as someone that doesn't do very much preparation until after football is over, and do the majority start prep/research in November like Lindy and Dave do?

Thanks for being on the show guys. Both Lindy and Michael had great insights on their successes and great things to say about the competition and our great competitors. It was a fun show last night.packman527 wrote:Thanks Greg and Tom for having me on. That was fun actually. Tough having to follow up the great Lindy Hinkleman as a guest, though. I'd say about half of our NFBC guys play in the NFFC as well. And a lot of our guys have success in both competitions. Michael, I actually think it's tougher for NFBC guys to get up to speed in football rather than the other way around. Football at least ends in December. For football, you guys are still competing in baseball full speed, while doing your best to update football rankings. So I think it's harder that way. But this year more than ever, we are seeing people prepare for baseball sooner than ever before with Draft Champions Leagues, so maybe you feel a little behind now than in the past.
One final note: SiriusXM is offering a one-week free offer to listen to the shows. So through Feb. 12th, tune in to SiriusXM 210/87 and you can check out this solid Fantasy Channel. Enjoy.
