Greg, what's the latest regarding moving the Ultimate Auction 2 to another time? Thanks.
Okay, look for an email from me today everyone on this list. I know we have 4-5 guys who are interested in doing 2 Ultimate Auction Leagues if the timing is right. I'm still trying to fill up two leagues on Sunday night, March 24th, but it never hurts to have a contingency plan in case we need help filling that second Ultimate Auction League.

I think the only possible time to pull this off outside of Sunday night is Saturday at 5 pm PT. I know some of you are already in the NFBC Diamond League, but it's the only free open time to make this happen. I also know it's shortly after the Main Event, but hopefully you'll have 2 1/2 hours to regroup and be ready to go. What a doubleheader THIS would be!!!

So look for an email today and we'll see if there is a shot at this one. If not, we'll do our best to get 30 owners on Sunday night. Please respond to my email when you get it and THANKS ALL.

Greg,

If it's Saturday Jupinka and I are in, if it's Sunday night you will have to scratch us off. Thanks.

Okay, we have a lot of people who are flexible with their schedules and it's very possible that we could have an Ultimate Auction League on Saturday night starting at 5 pm PT and one starting on Sunday night at 4 pm PT. This would add to the wild, fun weekend of drafts and auctions.

Okay, I've talked to several owners today and we're going to try for one league on Saturday and one on Sunday. Folks are flexible enough to maybe make this work this way:

NBC ULTIMATE AUCTION LEAGUE
Bellagio Las Vegas
Sunday, March 24, 4 p.m. PST
1. Lindy Hinkelman, Greencreek, Idaho
2. Will Tyrer, Beverly Hills, California
3. Kevin Kirves, Lexington, Kentucky (could move to Saturday Ultimate Auction)
4. Dave Potts, Auburn, Alabama
5. Ken Norred, Ashland, Alabama
6. Josh Blumenreich, Brooklyn, New York
7. Jon Stadtmueller, Little Rock, Arkansas
8. KJ Duke, San Diego, California (tentative)
9. Michael Stevens, St. Louis, Missouri
10. Ken O'Brien, Virginia Beach, Virginia
11. Jim Ferrari, San Diego, California
12. Brian Ogan, Chicago, Illinois
13. Chad Schroeder, Omaha, Nebraska
14. Glenn Lowy, Farmingville, New York
15. Scott Fleming, Totowa, New Jersey

NBC ULTIMATE AUCTION LEAGUE
Bellagio Las Vegas
Saturday, March 23, 5 p.m. PST
16. Ted Cohan, Centennial, Colorado
17. Rob Silver, Toronto, Ontario (can only do Sunday)
18. Kevin Schiller (would do Sat and Sun)
19. Kevin Bass, Potomac, Maryland
20. Donald Warner, Wayzata, Minnesota
21. Ken Magner/Jim Christie, Freehold, New Jersey
22. Ante Meich, Bayside, New York (Sat or Sun)
23. Matthew Shepherd, Napa, California (Sunday preferably, questionable for Saturday)
24. Ross Longood, Virginia
25. Jeff Dobies/Stephen Jupinka
26. Josh Blumenreich, Brooklyn, New York
27. Jon Stadtmueller, Little Rock, Arkansas
28. Michael Stevens, St. Louis, Missouri

So we have two owners on the Saturday list who can only do Sunday, but Kevin Kirves could move to Saturday and I might have one more opening there, too. So it looks like we might be at 27 or 28. Kevin Schiller is also interested in two spots if we could fit him in on Sunday as well. So we're closer than we were before today.

I still haven't heard from everyone, but this is possible yet. Thanks all and stay in touch. And if anyone else wants to jump in --preferably on Saturday night -- let me know via email at [email protected]. Thanks all.

Thanks KJ. Now we're moving closer to 2 full leagues. We're not there yet, but we're closer.

Okay, some folks can only do Sunday or can only do Saturday and we have three owners tentative yet, but it does look like the best scenario to make this work is one Ultimate Auction League on Sunday and one Ultimate Auction League on Saturday. If we can't move enough folks from Saturday to Sunday, then we'll have to keep Saturday night open a little longer. But it's good to see that the interest is there and we now have anywhere from 25 to 30 commitments for the two nights.

Stay in touch and if Saturday night works for you, let us know. We'd love to get you in this great league. Thanks. Here is the tentative list for now:

NBC ULTIMATE AUCTION LEAGUE
Bellagio Las Vegas
Sunday, March 24, 4 p.m. PST
1. Lindy Hinkelman, Greencreek, Idaho
2. Will Tyrer, Beverly Hills, California
3. Kevin Kirves, Lexington, Kentucky (could move to Saturday Ultimate Auction)
4. Dave Potts, Auburn, Alabama
5. Ken Norred, Ashland, Alabama
6. Josh Blumenreich, Brooklyn, New York
7. Jon Stadtmueller, Little Rock, Arkansas
8. KJ Duke, San Diego, California
9. Michael Stevens, St. Louis, Missouri
10. Ken O'Brien, Virginia Beach, Virginia
11. Jim Ferrari, San Diego, California
12. Brian Ogan, Chicago, Illinois
13. Chad Schroeder, Omaha, Nebraska
14. Glenn Lowy, Farmingville, New York
15. Scott Fleming, Totowa, New Jersey

NBC ULTIMATE AUCTION LEAGUE
Bellagio Las Vegas
Saturday, March 23, 5 p.m. PST
16. Ted Cohan, Centennial, Colorado
17. Rob Silver, Toronto, Ontario (can only do Sunday)
18. Kevin Schiller (would do Sat and Sun)
19. Kevin Bass, Potomac, Maryland

Okay, I moved you to Saturday Kevin and Rob Silver to Sunday since he was first on the list to move. The Sunday Ultimate Auction League looks pretty set, unless someone else would prefer Saturday. We have a couple of owners who could do Saturday also.

Michael Stevens has confirmed for both dates, so we now have 28 owners who are good to go and two Tentative. So we are damn close!! Here's the current signup lists for both days:

NOW ONLY 1 GUARANTEED SPOT LEFT in the 2nd Ultimate Auction League. Alan Greenberg of New Haven, Connecticut has finalized his first ever trip to Las Vegas on the First Weekend and he will be joining us for the Main Event and the Saturday night Ultimate Auction League at the Bellagio. AWESOME ALAN!!

We now have 30 owners between Saturday and Sunday nights, but one is tentative and on vacation now, and two others are still checking their Saturday night schedules. So we are VERY CLOSE to filling both leagues. Plan accordingly all and thanks much.

Okay, I don't want to officially say that both Ultimate Auction Leagues are sold out yet, but we are VERY CLOSE to being sold out. Last night Kevin Bass and his teammates agreed to stay in the Saturday night Ultimate Auction League and will find another time to paint the town red!! They were hoping to do that on Saturday night and then do the Ultimate Auction League on Sunday night, but it's Saturday night or nothing here!! They will remain in the Ultimate Auction League as one of our 15 teams that night. I still need to hear from Matt Shepherd and Glenn Schroter to finalize this league.

James Stanard, a past champion of the Ultimate Auction League, jumped in last night with an entry and he's on standby if anyone can't do this one. So it's good to have extras, which will allow us to finalize this league sooner rather than later. We are almost good to go here.

Here is the tentative signup list for that 2nd Ultimate Auction League on Saturday night, March 23rd:

NBC ULTIMATE AUCTION LEAGUE
Bellagio Las Vegas
Saturday, March 23, 5 p.m. PST
16. Ted Cohan, Centennial, Colorado
17. Kevin Kirves, Lexington, Kentucky
18. Kevin Schiller (would do Sat and Sun)
19. Kevin Bass, Potomac, Maryland (Sunday preferably)
20. Donald Warner, Wayzata, Minnesota
21. Ken Magner/Jim Christie, Freehold, New Jersey
22. Ante Meich, Bayside, New York (Sat or Sun)
23. Matthew Shepherd, Napa, California (Sunday preferably, questionable for Saturday)
24. Ross Longood, Virginia
25. Jeff Dobies/Stephen Jupinka, Farmingville, New York
26. Josh Blumenreich, Brooklyn, New York
27. Jon Stadtmueller, Little Rock, Arkansas
28. Michael Stevens, St. Louis, Missouri
29. Alan Greenberg, New Haven, Connecticut
30. Glenn Schroter (tentative)
31. James Stanard, Edwards, Colorado

Okay, we lost a team in the Saturday night NFBC Ultimate Auction League over the weekend, so we might now have 2 spots open for this March 23rd auction. If you have any interest in participating, please contact me at [email protected]. Kevin Schiller would like to participate in this one as well, but he's already signed up for the Diamond on Saturday night and the Sunday Ultimate Auction League appears full. If anyone wanted to switch from Sunday to Saturday, we could move Kevin to Sunday.

Thanks all and we'll find a way to fill this Saturday Ultimate Auction League up. We're close.

Here's what the lineup card looks like now:

NBC ULTIMATE AUCTION LEAGUE
Bellagio Las Vegas
Sunday, March 24, 4 p.m. PST

Okay, I think we moved a step closer to finalizing this Saturday, Ultimate Auction League 2. We have one more new owner who took a spot, leaving us with 30 owners if Matt and Glenn can both do it on Saturday night. Kevin Schiller desperately wants to partake, but he's in the Diamond League that night. So we have some options if needed.

Tom is changing this link on all of your team pages to Saturday, March 23rd at 5 pm PT. There should be no confusion now for which league you are in. We'll finalize this league shortly, but here's the current signup list:

NBC ULTIMATE AUCTION LEAGUE
Bellagio Las Vegas
Saturday, March 23, 5 p.m. PST
16. Ted Cohan, Centennial, Colorado
17. Kevin Kirves, Lexington, Kentucky
18. James Stanard, Edwards, Colorado
19. Kevin Bass, Potomac, Maryland (Sunday preferably)
20. Donald Warner, Wayzata, Minnesota

26. Josh Blumenreich, Brooklyn, New York
27. Jon Stadtmueller, Little Rock, Arkansas
28. Alan Greenberg, New Haven, Connecticut
29. Brett Bossuk, Agoura Hills

Okay, now we are officially back to needed ONE MORE TEAM for the Saturday, March 23rd Ultimate Auction League. We lost two owners who we thought were going to participate in this one, so we have 3 weeks to fill this last spot. We can still get it done.

Here's the list again and I think this one is pretty set. Kevin would love to do this format, but he's in the Saturday Night Diamond League. Unless we can move him to Sunday's Auction, we're still one team short. Let me know if you're interested and we'll fill this last spot up. Thanks all.
