I am the last original owner in USA Today's LABR Leagues as these date back to 1994 when the original class included Peter Gammons, Keith Olbermann, Danny Sheridan, Bill James and so many more top names. I finished 2nd in LABR AL that year -- it was the strike year, if you remember, and I was in first days before the season ended on Aug. 11 -- and last year Shawn and I finished 3rd in LABR AL, 1 point out of first place and a half point out of 2nd. We were one win away from winning this league title, which, had the Red Sox not blown Jon Lester's 3-0 lead against the Yankees on the Tuesday before the season ended we would have won it. But such is life in fantasy baseball.
We're both heading to Phoenix today to hook up before this weekend's LABR auctions. It should be a great, great time. We'll post our teams on this thread along with some dollar values from the auctions for all to see. Any advice you can give us ahead of time -- short of "take it easy on the Corona's Greg" -- would be helpful.

I have so much snow here in Wisconsin that my 5th grade son can touch my house roof standing on the snow bank. I CAN'T WAIT to feel 80 degrees again, see sunshine again and watch baseball again. Oh, and I CAN'T WAIT to drink a beer outside without it freezing in my hands before I'm done drinking it.

We're out to accomplish one mission this weekend: WIN BOTH LABR LEAGUE TITLES!! Wish us best of luck and listen in to the broadcast of both auctions Saturday and Sunday on SiriusXM Fantasy Sports Radio 210/87 from 7-midnight ET. See ya there.
