Awesome.
Live scoring and the Overall Standings were sore spots for a lot of folks last year.
It's good to hear you guys are on it well before the season begins.
Thanks Greg.

This is really, really important if you have multiple leagues and you are trying to keep up with FAAB. Please make this happen.
Just to confirm: As you said there is a separate page with a listing of all new FAAB additions for each league, but it's possible that some folks didn't even see that. I think there was a feeling that this was a better solution than the time-stamp, but we're talking now about the possibility of having both. I'll see if it's possible again to add the time-stamp.

Owners who upload logos, end up obstructing most of the space allocated to the clock in the room, on their turn.

If you've been razzed by fellow owners for taking too much time on your turn, just upload a logo. Only the seconds portion of the clock, will show.

Greg,
Jumping in late ask have been in hibernation due to work holidays sandy kids etc...

I think most of the key things were mention but one last idea. Net net Is hard to setup giant faab threads. One huge thing beyond what has already been stated is the ability to copy a faab thread between leagues.

I kno everyone will freak out and say " but what about players who aren't available". Simple. When you copy you highlight in red the players dropped off. The thread is then copied over and the players all simply move up to fill the empty slots. Then people can switch to that league and adjust as required

If you combine this with drag and drop as was suggested earlier even better.

I'd like a mute button in the draft room so that we can choose whether or not to hear the "you are now on the clock" soundbite. Very hard to explain in the workplace when that blasts out of my speakers.....

Yeah, thanks for that pearl of wisdom, Perry. :D However, in my line of work I have my speakers on for other reasons and that soundbite comes through loud & clear for all to hear!

The front part of 'you are now on the clock' got garbled at the beginning for me. So while I had friends and family, the computer sounded like it blurted out 'Cock'. I had to show them that it was the NFBC draft room and not porn.

Hi Greg,

Can you share with us what features will be available with the STATS/NFBC Smart Phone app? What will it be able to do? Is it still on pace for opening day? I feel something like this could potentially add more capacity for the addicts to add more teams.

set lineups?
live scoring?
add/drop etc?

If IT needs folks to test just let us know. Thanks

Jason

Is There a way to View your league draft or teams in CSV format so someone has the ability to export to EXcel?

I don't remember if we had the 'Switch teams' option on rosters last year, I think we did, but in any case, love seeing it on there!
Also, thanks for putting the 'submit lineups' button both at the top and bottom of our lineups. Makes it a lot easier in those 50 team leagues.

We are adding the drop down feature for as many functions as possible this year as everyone requested, making it easier to flip from one team to another in Live Scoring, Set Lineup, Rosters, Free Agency, etc. This should make life a whole lot easier for everyone.

any chance we can have rp and sp pitchers separated in starting lineup and on bench hitters on top and pitchers on bottom?? this would make setting lineups much easier! this "jumbling" creates confusion! thanks

I agree 100% with this.

I don't play much in baseball, but this would be a huge help.

And in football as well ;) (QB, RB, etc.)

I know that the list to IT is complete and this hopefully is included. Last year we discussed the drop down that allows you to move from league to league within certain league pages. It was suggested that the drop down be listed in the same order that we have listed them for our "My teams" page. Last year it was totally random.

Like I said I'm not sure if this is included, just thought I'd throw it out there.

Not really a technical improvement, but I think that some would prefer pickups on another night other than the weekend. Given the MLB schedule, it would likely need to be Thursday evening. Difficult for people w/ families and young kids to do pickups on a Sunday night at 8 pm. Just throwing it out there as a suggestion.

How about playing a sound each time a draft pick is made? Maybe it could be offered as an option - for those who wouldn't want to have this feature. Then you can look up from all the crap on yer desk or lap or whatever and see who has been picked - instead of having to stare at the screen.

Of course, maybe it's already there and I've missed it :-þ

One thing that is maddening is when you are searching for a player by name or by stats and it resets the entire group at the position to rankings anytime someone picks. Would love to see this addressed. Chances are it would speed up drafts. Sometimes I know I am forced to use my clock to get my ducks in a row getting guys in the wait list and when I forget to cross a guy off it is really maddening not quickly being able to see I am wrong when it keeps resetting. Especially when picks are fast. Normally quick picks are a good thing. This is one reason they are not.

It would help if the free agent page had the drop down to allow you to go from team to team.

Minor issue: shouldn't free agents be on the transaction menu not the stats menu?

And please add back to the Free Agent page the "enter bid" button. Not sure why we have to keep begging for something so basic but we used to have this and it is honestly embarrassing not to have this most simple and standard of function.

I thought one of the most important fixes that everyone clamored for was the live scoring to be fixed so that the player stats were listed more in the old format, without the unnecessary stats we didn't care about?

Within the new standings, when you click on a category, let's say "HR" ... it lists the HRs under the label "value" rather than HR. That is a bit 1950's IBM-ish and confusing for us humans - we're fantasy players and we want to see HRs labeled as HR !

Toggling between teams/live scoring/etc is great -- toggling for free agency would be awesome. Thanks.
