STATS Fantasy Advantage Tonight

Post by Greg Ambrosius » Tue Mar 19, 2013 8:25 am

Tom and I are flying to Las Vegas tomorrow, so the folks at SiriusXM have been nice enough to move our STATS Fantasy Advantage show to tonight at 10 pm ET. We'll be on this Tuesday and next Tuesday from 10 pm ET to midnight. Now we just have to pull ourselves away from NFBC online drafts and stay awake for this show!!

We have a LOT to talk about tonight with the injuries to Chase Headley, David Wright, Tex, Ortiz, etc. We'll also talk in the first segment with Sammy Lubeck about Aroldis Chapman's situation in Cincinnati. Does he get 25 starts this year or 25 saves? We'll ask the STATS Man!!

At 10:15 pm ET, we'll bring on Ray Murphy of BaseballHQ.com and a Charter Member of the NFBC. Ray and Win Murray won an NFBC Main Event title last year and finished 19th overall, so we'll talk about a repeat title!! Ray can also give us some thoughts on all of the injuries and spring training news. Should be fun.

At 11:15 pm ET, we'll bring on Clark Olson as our first guest. Clark is a 10-year member of the NFBC who has won 3 Main Event league titles, in 2004, 2005 and 2012. Clark is also Mr. Uber Fantasy on ESPN.com. It should be a fun talk.

We're also talking fantasy football during the last half hour and providing NFBC ADP info on the air. Give us a call or just listen in tonight during our new time. Thanks all.

Next Tuesday, we'll have NFBC players who are staying out in Las Vegas live with us from the Bellagio. That's next Tuesday from 10 pm ET to midnight. Rick Thomas has already agreed to be on the air and we'll reach out to others who are staying through both weekends. Again, should be fun!!

If you didn't listen to last night's STATS Fantasy Advantage show live, please do your best to call it up on SiriusXM On Demand. Man, was that a fun show. I'd say it was easily our best show on SiriusXM.

We did it live from the Bellagio Las Vegas with Tom and I in a suite with several NFBC owners who not only drafted last weekend with us, but who are also drafting this weekend with the NFBC. Our guests last night included:

Rick Thomas
KJ Duke
Jon Stadtmueller

It was a lot of fun. And it probably didn't hurt to have some Corona's in the Green Room!! Thankfully, neither Tom nor I had any drinks during the show (well, okay, for most of it!! ) but the festivities afterwards got a little wild. I hope Tom is feeling okay on his long flight to New York City this morning!! 8-) Thanks to everyone for listening and to those great participants.

Tom and I will be live tonight on SiriusXM Fantasy Channel from 7-9 pm ET, our regular time slot going forward. With so many games going on today and tonight, we'll mainly be updating the fantasy highlights and scores. We do have Geoff Bough of Fanduel.com on at 8:15 pm ET and Nelson Sousa of the NFFC on at 8:30 pm ET as we talk a little fantasy football. But it should be a fun show with so much action -- and bad weather -- going on today. See ya there tonight.
