Lineup Reminder

Hey folks just a reminder to set your lineups before Sunday's game if you have players in that game. You can then set your Week 1 lineups before Monday's first game.

Good luck everyone.

Hi Tom, question regarding this. When is the cutoff for the "set lineup" for week 0? My quetions involves the waiver wire. I have a small bid on someone and may be dropping Ben Broussard, will the waiver stuff clear before the game starts? Also, if I have Ben Broussard in my starting lineup and the bid goes through I will have an ineligble lineup so will I get no stats for my other Indians/Whitesox?

You needed to set your Week 0 lineup five minutes before gametime and you weren't allowed to move acquisitions you got tonight into that lineup. However, you can move new FAAB pickups into Week 1 lineups, which are due five minutes before the first game tomorrow. Good luck.

Just got a few e-mails from [email protected] reminding me "to set my fantasy lineup...which is due Monday April 03" These e-mails were received at around 1:45pm EDT.

Well, there's always next week...

Are we updating our rosters for each week? I see it seems like it will allow us to enter them twice a week. Is this new? When will the live scoring be working? Thank you!

The only lineup change for this year is that you are allowed each Friday to move a player who is officially on MLB's disabled list out of your starting lineup if you have a player on your reserve who can make your lineup legal. That is the only change you can make on Friday, five minutes before the first game. We hope it allows teams to get some production out of a spot that was hampered by MLB teams placing players on the DL Monday night or Tuesday morning, and force teams to keep a strong reserve roster. Good luck.

Greg,

Thank you. I didn't know about the Friday DL rule. Seems like it would be helpful. I'm glad I asked since I know I have JD Drew on at least 1 of my teams! :D

AS for the live scoring, I am in and see it working. I was in the wrong area originally. Hey, It's been a year...or at least 5-6 months!

Rule #1 in fantasy baseball is "Read the Rules"

Rule #2 in fantasy baseball is "Reread the Rules"

Rule #3 in fantasy baseball is "Never forget Rule #1"

I have given this advice each of the four years I was writing articles for sites.

I note that the roster options run from Monday to Thursday and Friday to Sunday to allow for DL changes.
