76erfan visits red sox nation(the nfbc member and the city)

Post by 76erfan » Wed May 29, 2013 7:15 pm

Just got back from a great trip to Boston. Saw phils/sox for two games...and was fortunate to sit on the green monster for one of those games. That will be a lifelong memory.

Got to catch up with the official "red sox nation" ...jason duponte as well yesterday for a nice tailgate at Game On! which was a fabulous host for us. Lets just say....we are both feeling the effects of that tailgate today. I had a head start on Jason. We did the Sam Adams tour earlier in the day. Happy to report the phils won yesterday....so I got to go home happy today:) And yes we talked fantasy baseball for a long time..and he even got some of my friends interested in checking out the NFBC in future years.

Just wanted to share the experience here. Its nice to catch up with NFBC members when passing thru towns they reside it. I got to see Jim Christie in Rochester, NY last year. Hope to continue the tradition in future years. Definitely some great friends made in this group.

Best of luck to all rest of year.

Andy,

That was a great time. Thanks for the invite to the pre-party at Game On. 3 hours of open bar :o :o :o Glad you enjoyed Boston/Fenway. Thankfully Cliff Lee pitched. Isn't the Philly motto "Cliff Lee and pray for rain"? Best of luck the rest of the way

Jason

hamels has been better but we score 1 run or less when he pitches. kendrick been ok too.

we are so mediocre its sometimes boring to watch. wasnt boring to watch lee beat your team tho. that was fun.
