anonymous teams
Hey what is the purpose of Letting some owners be annonymous on the sign up list in DC Football? If two ppl are anonymous in DC league 19 then why not make them all anonymous.... Are those two teams privileged? The whole league should be anonymous I guess.. There is nothing in the rules about anonymous teams. If ppl are going to play state thier names just like everyone else....

Re: anonymous teams
I don't think any teams should be anonymous...ppl want to know who they are signing up to play against, i would think...lol

Re: anonymous teams
I am not a fan of anonymous teams. If I see a league with one (or more) in them, I don't sign up. I think it's pretty arrogant of anyone to think they are so great they have to hide their identity like Superman disguised as Clark Kent. Get over yourselves already.

OK - So I'm not as good as I thought I was; but at least I am consistent.

Re: anonymous teams
It's odd that this is being discussed on our baseball boards when the complaint is about the latest NFFC Draft Champions Leagues. But the reason we allow this is no different from why we allowed it in baseball: WE post all of the names on a public forum after folks privately sign up and some folks don't want that. Their identities aren't hidden within the league or during the draft as their log-ins and names come up there. But if some folks want to have their names hidden on a public forum before the draft -- two of the guys do it because their employers might frown on their participation -- then we just put Anonymous on the Message Board. Anyone who doesn't like that beforehand -- and again, their names will come up in the draft room unless they are using a different login -- can avoid those leagues. If you're not against knowing the names of every participant, then jump in. It's as simple as that.Parnelli wrote:Hey what is the purpose of Letting some owners be annonymous on the sign up list in DC Football? We're not covering anything up, but some folks just can't or don't want their names associated with every league. I can tell you that 2 of the Anonymous recently are 65+-year-old guys who have work and family reasons for being Anonymous. It's not always the guys you think it is or for the reasons -- however bizarre -- you may think. Sometimes, it's very simple like not being listed on the public forum.

I don't blame anyone who wants to do that. My X-girlfriend went to the message boards finding me on the main event for baseball this year. I had told her I was not going to play, but then I did change my mind. Of course, what is it to her anyway. She's an "X". I think she thought I would just spend that money on her (before the "X" occurred)..........lol..........decisions in life!

Don't start with x-girlfriends until you've experienced x-wives, my friend.JimyMarlboroBallgame wrote:Fantasy baseball or biggest b**ch I've ever known?

Mine cost me the equivalent of 86 ME teams to make her my X!!

And that was just legal fees...not what she got.
Boy this thread is running amok.
