maybe they can find a way to give your entire team the day off in league 1 and let the rest of us catch up.
But something tells me my team would still find a way to lose ground.

Back in the day, Sunday baseball was not allowed. It was the Lord's day or a day of rest.
In some ways, things haven't changed
Lord? Don't modern day players get enough rest now?
Sheesh.

As McCarver said yesterday... he has never seen as many injuries as there are now. He said obliques, Hammys, forearms barely existed when he played. He said players today are too muscular for baseball and wound too tight... It is astonishing how bad it has gotten the past 2 years... Strategy is being removed more and more from this fantasy game... its all about who is injured and who needs a REST.

Hanley and Aramis Ramirez are exhausted from playing a season-high 2 straight games. Two excellent candidates for the next generation of Kevin Youkilis and Chipper Jones.

with all this rest talk I can only hope that the cardinals find a way to keep Beltran productive all year. I will take the every sunday off if he keeps producing for an entire season.
Now I see he is in the lineup. forget everything I just said.
Dang I thought he was a lock for my insurance player also.

Seriously.... come on. Chipper was a freaking warrior who would play hurt and still at 40 years old was playing 3b on a pretty regular basis. Youk is the biggest vagina in the history of the game.

Perspective is an amazing thing ;)

Chipper Jones and Aramis Ramirez both played their first full years during their age 23 seasons. Last year was Aramis’ age 34 season.

Games Played age 23-34
Jones – 1753
Ramirez – 1669

BTW, since 1970, those totals represent the 3rd and 8th most games played from ages 23-34 for third baseman.

Both quality players ... then the decline. Last 3 seasons for Chipper he averaged 110 games and had multiple days off each week even when "healthy". Aramis on the same path this season, 3 yrs ahead of schedule.

one of these years I will not draft Hanley Ramirez...I hate him and he hates me
Sometimes I'm good and sometimes I'm bad....but I always try real hard.

Sorry for the hijack - not worthy of its own thread.

I just find it mind boggling that right now, there are about 50 people in the country hoping they bid enough to get Ollie Perez.

That is all.
