Is on pace for a .329-56-105-41 season.

OK maybe the HRs dip a bit ;) but so far it's looking like all of the concerns about his move to Washington were unfounded. He could end up being one of the top value picks in fantasy baseball this season. A Top 5 talent who could be had in the second round.

He will cool off, but it is nice to have such a hot start for one of the players on your team. Wish I had him....he is one of the reasons Tom Lord (the Usual Suspects) is leading the way right now.

In our draft, I had the 12th pick of the 2nd round. With seven picks to go before my pick, Utley, Rollins, Soriano, and Young were still out there. Thought I might have a chance at one of them (50/50). Wrong again. They were four of the next five picks...Dooooh!

Baseball is a slow, boring, complex, cerebral game that doesn't lend itself to histrionics. You 'take in' a baseball game, something odd to say about a football or basketball game, with the clock running and the bodies flying.
