Looking for Writers for an NFBC Primer

Post by ToddZ » Thu Nov 14, 2013 12:00 pm

I'm putting together an NFBC Primer (to be available as a stand alone product under the Mastersball brand) which will include essays by NFBC champions. I already have commitments from some of the most successful NFBC gamers but I want this primer to be even more alluring so I'm recruiting more contributors.

Presently, I'd like to focus on those that have won Draft Champion leagues for a Dec 1 initial launch (though we can roll out essays until Dec 15). I'll circle back in January asking for contributors to the second phase (Feb 15) which will cover all the March contests.

If you've won a DC league and are interested (contributors will get a 2014 Mastersball subscription and the NFBC Primer), then drop me an e-mail (todd at mastersball dot com) or PM.

My character is still shaken from the first episode of 'Fantasy Camp' that appeared, but I can talk him into another segment.

Doughy, how the hell did I lose to Gekko???? Though due to Todd's eloquent debate, I can see why he was the Overall champ. ;) Great stuff as always.

I've been a Mastersball subscriber for the past couple years and a visitor to the site for a couple years prior to that. I've always enjoyed their content. This year with the Primer, it just makes the site as Doughy would put it, even more NFBC-centric, and therefore an even a more enjoyable read. To Todd and the rest of the Mastersball team, keep up the great work. You've made yourself a loyal customer here.

Totally agree Glenn. I joined the site last year. Todd and crew do a great job and the NFBC Primer adds some great info to an already very informative website.

He had the eye of the tiger, Glenn. You'll get him next year! 8-)

To add to the Todd and Mastersball comments...
In another thread it was said that some enjoy Shandler and some don't. However, most would agree that their customer service, through the years has been mediocre at best and usually worse.
I haven't heard a negative word about Mastersball. Their customer service is comparable to Greg/Tom. Customer service should be the easiest thing for a business. It's a practice of giving the customer what they seek in a timely manner.
Todd and Mastersball does that.
Whether speaking Numerish or not, it is a site for the NFBC player.
P.S.- I've had several requests for the Mastersball version of Fantasy Camp.
It can only be found at the NFBC Primer at Mastersball.
Sign up, you won't regret it.

My 1st year using Mastersballs/Primer and I have to say it's a very impressive site. Tons of function/content and adding in strategy essays/analysis from successful nfbc veterans is invaluable.
